I've never given any thought whatsoever about whether trans-women and trans-men are actually women and men; because I simply do not care. However, I would have to say that Greer is definitely wrong that transphobia (although that might be a poor name for it) exists. I've seen people very much hold trans-gender people in contempt and yes, even complete disgust. Not that Greer shouldn't have been allowed to speak. "Good thing I don't heal my characters or they'd be really hurt." Is not something I should ever be thinking. I use blue text when I'm being sarcastic.
