BruceVC
Judging from the gameplay video and his talents in AI coding I'd say it's probably gonna be a good game. I doubt he'll be able to handle that success very well though, he is convinced he singlehandedly saved Creative Assembly and the Total War series with his mods. I'm guessing he'll be completely immune to any criticism and run his series into the ground with his arrogance in less than 3 games. Wow, he does sound rather arrogant. Lets hope he takes criticism objectively "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. Rosbjerg
Lets hope he takes criticism objectively Indeed, 'cause he obviously is very talented and it would be pretty awesome to have him churn out good strategy games in intervals. Raithe
Well, that isn't so much as saying you can't debate it, it's more of a "there's no accounting for some peoples taste" Or to put it another way, "it's whatever floats your boat" "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum." Malcador
Excellent, we have a guinea pig for that game. I am still dealing with residual burning from pre-ordering Civ V's CE Why has elegance found so little following? On one hand I am looking forward for another Civ game, on other hand from most lets plays I seen it seems its not that close to Alpha Centauri I would like to be, and as always, I will definetely wait for some complete edition, not going to burn again like with Civ 5 (which was huge letdown after all those datadisks for Civ 4) I thought that when you doing new game from series you will include all stuff which was in previouse one and then start adding more content but missing religion and espionage, caravans etc... was step back I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. I'm the kinda guy that likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecue ribs with the side-order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol! I wanna eat bacon, and butter, and buckets of cheese, okay?! I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section! I wanna run naked through the street, with green Jell-O all over my body, reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly may feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is?
