By tablets do you mean both iOS and Android?

I'm really excited about the card game.  I've played the adventure card game quite a bit and it's a great co-op game.  From these screen shots Obsidian is doing a nice job of translating it to the screen.  Can't wait!

An article from august 22'nd I overlooked

http://boardgamegeek.com/blogpost/33282/app-news-pathfinder-impressions-stalag-17-released

We were able to sit down with one of the developers from Obsidian Entertainment on Saturday morning and take a look at the game in action and, upon viewing, rocketed to the top of my want list. If the physical version of the game has a failing for me, it's that the roleplaying aspect seems a bit thin. There are times where it definitely feels like you're playing a card game and not smashing villains. The app changes all that. Not only are there cut-scenes introducing plot points and NPCs that appear in the game, but all the locations are icons on a great looking map. Once you enter a location, it zooms to that location, which is a fully animated landscape.

The card game portion is still completely intact, with cards and dice being displayed on top of the backgrounds. There are even digital dice that you can flick around the screen instead of the dice rolls happening behind the scenes.

What really made it stand out what the inclusion of material from the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path that isn't in the cards from the game. Not that there are new cards or adversaries, but that they pulled story items from the adventure path to flesh out the app and make it feel less like a card game and more like a true RPG.

I assume that the numbers in the upper left tell you how many of each type of card is in the location, do each of the corresponding numbers go down after you acquire or banish a given card? For example if the mercenary is defeated will the monster card count drop to 3 or stay at 4?

Yep! And yep!

We know that players will sometimes put the game down for hours or days in the middle of playing a Scenario. This should help them come back to it.

Looking good!  Just picked up Sentinels of the Multiverse on iOS which I'm loving and have really high hopes for PACG.  Any tighter windows on release yet?

Will all the adventure packs be included right off the bat?  Would be a huge turn off if we have to buy individual expansions.

I would imagine that the app will be free with the base 3 scenarios available (to get new people hooked) as a try before you buy type thing. and that the 6 adventure packs would be available individually via in app purchase and maybe a bundle that includes all 6 at a cheaper price, probably a few in app purchases for promos and/or extra characters as well.
