Looks like Liz's last name is fitting.

Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

Yeah, while most of you are aware of my love of tattooed lawyer and economist chicks, those are seriously butt ugly.

You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that?

World's most beautiful woman according to me; and my favorite of her looks.

sometimes I wonder if there's something wrong with me because I can't stand the sound of the human voice in songs. there wasn't, isn't and never will be a singer I could like.

I wouldn't like to accuse you of anything, but I'd have to agree. Unless it's just a question of what you like.

Have you heard Mongolian throat singing?

Hell if the song and lyrics are good enough I can stand the worst voices on the planet (Primus sucks!), but Lisa Hannigan's voice is truly angelic.

Jennifer Lawrence, she can be beautiful, ugly and ordinary in a manner of minuts- and at the same time, she has this very "down to earth" vibe that's very attractive. Like the pretty 'girl next door'.

J-Law as the hippest cats in town have taken to calling her seems to have taken the role of "queen of the internet" on her shoulders. Hard pressed to find people who don't like her there. I'm expecting the backlash will begin soon.

that's the thing, I love music, but I hate when people spoil it with their ugly voices. I can't stand operas, but I like ballet for this reason alone  :geek:

No idea who Jennifer Lawrence is, but she looks like a downgraded version of Leelee Sobieski.

EDIT: looked it up on imdb. Hunger Games, eh? That explains a lot.

Downgraded? L0L They're equal in looks but Lawrence seems to be the stronger actress.

Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L.
