Some wild screenshots appeared!

Recommended Posts

I think all of those images are artwork. Look at them in full size, the interiors have a very painted look (in contrast to the ones we saw earlier) and the countryside images are a very weird blend of blurry sprites, blurry grass, blurry water, painted-looking bits and detailed ruins.

Is anybody else of the opinion that the building shown in the OP is too bright?

It doesn't look real enough and appears to stick out.

I believe that's because the in-engine dynamic lighting hasn't been applied yet. Dynamic lighting will add several layers of shadows.

Yeah seriously, those are like alpha, possibly even pre alpha screenshots.  You can look at what was showed in the recent live stream demo and see the graphics already look better.

Wow, those look amazing. They really have that Infinity Engine feel... but all HD-ified. Exciting stuff. =)

I believe the proper term is "Highly Defined." u_u

P.S. I don't truly believe that, and this is pure silliness.

Should we not start with some Ipelagos, or at least some Greater Ipelagos, before tackling a named Arch Ipelago? 6_u

It was a toss up between that and High Definitionated. ;)

Aren't those concept art? They look more hand drawn than rendered.

Yes, they are. As stated already. :)

I think you got confused by talking about the picture in the OP, not the recently released ones.
