mkreku Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Return to Castle Wolfenstein is one of my favourite FPS's of all time. I would not be disappointed if this teaser waa in fact a new Wolf. It looked incredible back then, and I must say it has aged with dignity: Hard to believe this game was released in 2001! 1 Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Monte Carlo Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 mkreku is that on maximum settings? I agree it has aged well.

Sunflowers and what appears to be a hanging man in front of some austere building. https://vine.co/v/bFldAQgTIr6 Sunflowers and a hanged man in the background. It's either Wolfenstein, or Project Zwei. Wolfenstein. They better don't make another silly Occult-based cheesefest with magic Superpower nonsense like Raven did. Raven ****ed everything up they touched post-Jedi Knight 2. Rain makes everything better.
babaganoosh13 Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Earthbound is finally coming back to NA (and for the first time in Europe)!!!!!! The only catch seems to be that it might only be on the WiiU's Virtual Console. If I ever buy a WiiU, I guarantee that it will be the first game I buy for it. Hopefully it will also be on the Wii's VC. I guarantee the first thing I do when it does (and is) is lug that thing into town, and buy it immediately. And the Ecco's. You see Nintendo, I do want to give you money. You see, ever since the whole Doritos Locos Tacos thing, Taco Bell thinks they can do whatever they want.
Nepenthe Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 I really dug RTCW as well. You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions
Morgoth Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Alright, probably not Wolfenstein, but this: http://projectzwei.net/ Sounds good too. Rain makes everything better.
Keyrock Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Alright, probably not Wolfenstein, but this: http://projectzwei.net/ Sounds good too. So, Resident Evil by another name. I'm interested. Knowing Bethesda's affinity for open world, I wonder if this winds up being something sort of like S.T.A.L.K.E.R? Right, but as the publisher, they still have the power to say "make it open world". Not that that will definitely be the case, it's more a bit of wishful thinking on my part. Morgoth Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 (edited) Right, but as the publisher, they still have the power to say "make it open world". Not that that will definitely be the case, it's more a bit of wishful thinking on my part. They could say "Make it like this or else", but that's not how respectable partners treat each other. I don't think they acquired Mikami's studio just to push them around like an EA or Activision does. Also, Zwei has been confirmed to use Unreal Engine 3. That engine is not very good for open-world design. Either way, final teaser: http://www.shacknews.com/article/78795/bethesda-final-teaser-announces-game-reveal-tomorrow Announcement tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Edited April 18, 2013 by Morgoth Rain makes everything better.

Not that that will definitely be the case, it's more a bit of wishful thinking on my part. For all that they made many blunders with their publishing branch, but their portfolio isn't limited to open-world titles and there's no reason to assume they suddenly decide to limit themselves to those now. I mean, they could have told Mikami to "make it more like Happy Days" but there's no reason to assume that. EDIT: I really hate the quote function on this forum. Keyrock Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 @ WorstUsernameEver, Morgoth - Fair enough. It's mostly me projecting my wishful thinking that this could be something like S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
