I'd love a remake of the MSX Metal Gear games (MG2 on NES is not the real MG2) with MGS4 gameplay. Hell, I'd love a remake of MGS1/2/3 in the MGS4 engine, though I'd totally settle for a HD update like that upcoming Splinter Cell collection.

 

Anyway, Kojima is apparently working on something original although for a while it was thought to be a new Snatcher, which would have been awesome. You can never have too many cyberpunk games.

The Snatcher rumor revolved around a joint with Suda 51, right? I heard they weren't working together yet. But maybe he went ahead with it anyway. It'd be nice.

Yeah Project S, and people (like me) assumed/hoped the S stood for Snatcher. I vaguely recall reading a story recently about a project he was working on that definitely wasn't Snatcher and assuming it was Project S.

Almost 20 years since Doom and id is stil making the same game.

 

I got bored about halfway through the trailer so maybe it gets better.

 

However unlikely it may seem.

Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

Gawd, what's with all of the metallic sounds? The gameplay seemed to have been PC - when use icon appeared it showed "E" as the assigned key

It's official, Ezio Auditore de Firenze is returning in a third AC game. According to the press release you get to play as all three of the characters you did previously.
