Morgoth
Meh. Finished that game 8 years ago and have no intention to revisit it. Also: IE looks ugly. Rain makes everything better.
PoetAndMadman
Meh. Finished that game 8 years ago and have no intention to revisit it. Also: IE looks ugly. Blasphemy!! How can you say that Torment looks ugly with Widescreen patch? It looks gorgeous!
Morgoth
No it doesn't. 3D has now surpassed 2D by a great deal. Please stop this nostalgia bs. Rain makes everything better.
RPGmasterBoo
No it doesn't. 3D has now surpassed 2D by a great deal. Please stop this nostalgia bs. Not really. Neither technology is superior only the artistic capabilities of the developers are what counts. Planescape Torment had high quality artwork which looks nice with widescreen patches. Dragon Age for example - doesn't. It looks randomly generated 90% of the time. Its between passable and ugly. So nothing has been "surpassed" because the essential quality - design - is a constant not dependent on technology but on talent. And its either good or bad. Maria Caliban
Meh. Finished that game 8 years ago and have no intention to revisit it. Also: IE looks ugly. It's a novel on wheels. You should be too busy reading the game to notice the graphics. "When is this out. I can't wait to play it so I can talk at length about how bad it is." - Gorgon. Malcador
Asking that in a thread about Good Old Games? Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra
Gfted1
It's a novel on wheels. Ug, thats what Im afraid of. As I said, I played them all. I want something new and fresh instead. Any recommendations, dear Obsidian comrades? Knock yourself out. EDIT: Would be nice if they added NOLF next... HoonDing
They should add Drakan: Order of the Flame & Tomb Raider: the Last Revelation + Chronicles. My discs are scratched. Also, Rune & Heavy Metal FAKK 2. Those games are a ********* to run on Vista. Edited September 28, 2010 by virumor The ending of the words is ALMSIVI. Purkake
I guess this is less about us and more about the public at large being able to play it now and in the forseeable future(hopefully). GOG is kind of like the PC game museum. At least GAF seems pretty enthusiastic about it

Oh, thats definately the vibe I get from almost everyone. Its just that certain comments weigh more, like Gromnir calling it "navel gazing", which is the worst possible reading for me.
