I don't remember Bethesda spilling anywhere near this much plot before they released Fallout 3, hopefully this just means that Obsidian are super hardcore confident of their storytelling abilities and are silently sure that the rest of the plot will be brilliant enough, spoilers n all.

*fingers crossed*

Actually, it seems like it was "spoiled" in the intro, amongst with the identity of the shooter, so I don't think it's that big of a spoiler anyway.

Hmm, it's looking like I'll be taking a hiatus from this thread until the game is officially released. Too many hints at spoilers for my tastes. >_<

What article?

The @Gamer one. vault_overseer has the issue.

Am i the only person who thinks that the boardroom they used for Fallout should have been plated up in steel sheeting? Would have only cost a few hundred quid to do.

tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.

Not just him it seems.

I shared:)

Anyone remember when the character didn't know who shot him, what was in the package or even his own identity?..how things change :p

Well, stuff like that was never officially said. Also it is still possible, that the player just doesn't know that the dudes name is Benny. So one can say, he doesn't know him. He knows how he looks like, but he doesn't know more about him.

It was also said, that the player has *not* amnesia after he got hit in the head, so I really don't know why so many people go yadda-yadda on knowing what the package was. It most likely is nothing more than the ring in Arcanum was.

Well, it's a platinum chip, which will obviously lead you to Lucky 38, which will lead you to Mr. House, who likely planned the whole thing to get you to deal with the conflict in the region.

Steel is great for acoustics.

I'm working on getting it off my ipad(not best quality, but still...)

One word.

Badass

Just seen these first 12 pages.

I confirm :

I'm wondering if we'll meet that guy in game actually. I'm pretty sure that there isn't a similar hair style in game and that Obsidian hasn't added any.

Plus, the long hair styles I've seen in mods had some pretty huge clipping problems.

A pity though.

oh god, penny arcade fallout comics? bleh :shifty:

Bethesda should've hired Scott of VGCats fame for the job

I never liked that penny arcade stuff for Fallout 3. It is even more stupid than Fallout 3. Especially because I totally hate that vault experiment thing.. bleh.

That long hair dude might have blond middle-long hair in the game later. It could look somewhat similar.

True, though it would be a bit of a pity IMHO. The metalhead/Mad Max-ish look fits Fallout imho.

Good to see it was considered, at least! :x

You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that?

Seems like Bethesda is cool with the screens of the comics on the web. Cool.

I'm finding Benny's lines quite more amusing than I probably should.
