I just loved trying to stealth through the hotel level and then suddenly Heck pops out and starts shooting the crap out of everything. Good times.

 

Still, who is he? He's not CIA, obviously. Avellone must have had a wonderful time writing his lines.

Don't think it was Avellone who wrote him. funcroc showed up in some other topic and posted a quote which detailed who had written what. I think it was Travis Stout who's responsible for Taipei and its characters? And Matt Mclean wrote 95% of the e-mails.

Ah well, all the writing is brilliant. The suave reply to Heck's conspiracy theory email was hilarious - I had to choose it, even though I was mainly doing a professional playthrough.

I like to think that he actually did start off as a CIA agent, but the experience simply fuelled his original wackiness and made his mind go overboard. I mean, the spy life can make you become paranoid.

 

Making Wen Shu the assassin is the best joke I've seen in a video game for some time.

He totally did two chicks at once lol xD I really wish that he works for some kind of super spy international agency ( he even mentions Global Monitoring Centre at the endgame) because that could be a nice plot for AP2 And even though he seems like a freelancer he trades for favours not cash

Speaking of Taipei, I was disappointed that Hong Shi couldn't be a more "constant" character. Any character voiced by James Hong needs to be used a lot, he did an awesome job.

Did someone here menage to piss him off enough so that he betrays you to the VCI as Sung's assassin? I tried, but only got to -5 or -6, and that was not enough. I think I had -9 or -10 with Madison when she hit me in the head and run away to Marburg, so maybe you need to have complete animosity with characters for them to take actions against you.

I only had dislike, but he did betray me. Maybe because I didn't delete his dossier at the hotel?

What stance did you use during conversations?

 

I tried professional and didn't delete those files, but still he didn't betray me.

I gave Sung the riot plans and didn't try to assassinate him (didn't even know you can).

No, you can't, someone else is the assassin, but Heck gives the name to the public, if he likes you, he just gives a random name, but if he dislikes you, I guess he gives your name? What did the news say, did they mention you as a suspect?
