November 13, 200916 yr Yeah it's going to be monthly subscription based, as Interplay's Fallout MMO license doesn't allow the free-to-play model. As for the screens themselves, they looks rather bland comparing to Masthead's other game Earthrise which unlike Project V13 I'm actually looking forward to play. Earthrise was supposed to lanuch at the end of this year, but now even closed beta looks further and further away. Don't know if delays in Earthrise have anything to do with Masthead working on Project V13 but I would hate to see them dragged down by Interplay.

Keep in mind these screens are PRE-ALPHA. Much of the textures and other artwork are prob placeholders or whipped togeather yet unrefined just for the time being. Have you seen other (pre)alpha screens then compaired them to the final game? Many examples are night and day. True but I was comparing these screens with early Earthrise shots, which is also pre-alpha but looks much better IMO. Presumably Project V13 also benefits from addtional 2 years of engine development done by the Earthrise team, so I find those screens rather underwhelming. Edited November 14, 200916 yr by Masterfade

November 14, 200916 yr Fallen Earth has beaten Interplay to the punch when it comes to a post apocalyptic MMO. They have to do something really impressive to have the various MMO guilds even take a look at it. Pre-Alpha screens are nothing in my opinion. With how long this game is supposedly in development they should have a working beta by now. November 14, 200916 yr I'm a bit confused by the screens, now that I think about it. This is being developed by Interplay, is it using the same engine Fallout 3 used? Because it looks pretty similar, although not polished.

Ultima Online, Anarchy Online, WoW, Tabula Rasa, Auto Assault, Dungeons and Dragons Online, and so forth and so on have all been 100% crap. Give me a good and focused single player game. Crate 4.0 - we shall just have to wait and see.Down and out on the Solomani RimNow the Spinward Marches don't look so GRIM!
