I want teh kotor 3 Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Acooridng to their twitter, that is. Kotor 3? Of course not... they don't have souls... In 7th grade, I teach the students how Chuck Norris took down the Roman Empire, so it is good that you are starting early on this curriculum. R.I.P. KOTOR 2003-2008 KILLED BY THOSE GREEDY MONEY-HOARDING ************* AND THEIR *****-*** MMOS
Morgoth Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 They say old school, so it's either Grim Fandango or Jedi Knight. A new Jedi Knight from some famed developer would clearly rock. Rain makes everything better.
HoonDing Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Hopefully it will be Loom or Full Throttle. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Oner Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Or maybe it's going to be a new Day of the Tentacle. Giveaway list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DgyQFpOJvyNASt8A12ipyV_iwpLXg_yltGG5mffvSwo/edit?usp=sharing What is glass but tortured sand?Never forget! '12.01.13.
Kaftan Barlast Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Or maybe it's going to be a new Day of the Tentacle. Thats the first thing that popped into my head. It would be pretty sweet. The second one was Indiana Jones. DISCLAIMER: Do not take what I write seriously unless it is clearly and in no uncertain terms, declared by me to be meant in a serious and non-humoristic manner. Oner Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 (edited) Or maybe it's going to be a new Day of the Tentacle. Thats the first thing that popped into my head. It would be pretty sweet. The second one was Indiana Jones. A new Indiana Jones game is being worked on (or was it released already?), so I kinda doubt it. But yes, I would love to see something like Fate of Atlantis too. HoonDing Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Or how about they actually make Loom 2 or Full Throttle 2. That would be pretty sweet. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Purkake Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 They say old school, so it's either Grim Fandango or Jedi Knight. A new Jedi Knight from some famed developer would clearly rock. Raven or bust. We all saw how the Force Unleashed turned out...
Morgoth Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Isn't Raven a subsidiary of Activision? Could they even work for LA? But yeah, if it is Jedi Knight, I wish it would be handled by an outside studio. Rain makes everything better.

WILL THE ALMIGHTY Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 I don't want to see a KotOR 3 from Bioware, so I'm hoping for Republic Commando. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

213374U Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 JK plxx With actual swordplay, if possible. - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.
Kaftan Barlast Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 If they say oldschool, they're probably referring to LucasArts 'golden age' of the 1990's which is the period from X-Wing to Grim Fandango. So no republic commando for you! Hah! DISCLAIMER: Do not take what I write seriously unless it is clearly and in no uncertain terms, declared by me to be meant in a serious and non-humoristic manner. Malcador Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 I'd like it to be X-Wing Alliance 2. I felt Grim Fandango wrapped up pretty well, so I'm okay with no sequel for that. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

bhlaab Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) It's going to be grim fandango 2 except they'll mix it up to sell more to modern audiences. Instead of an adventure game it will be a fps with adventure game elements, and instead of a film noir feel you will play as a visibily older and overweight Manny fighting his way out of Renaissance-themed environments. Edited July 6, 2009 by bhlaab
Gorth Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Anyone of the X-Wing/Tie Fighter games that runs on contemporary computers would be welcome *stares wistfully at his old LucasArts boxes*... “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
Syraxis Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Instead of an adventure game it will be a fps with adventure game elements, That's actually how I pictured a Full Throttle "sequel" catered to modern audiences.

So no republic commando for you! Hah! A man can dream. :_c Wait, scratch that: A man exists to dream. But what can change the nature of a dream? This particularly rapid, unintelligible patter isn't generally heard, and if it is, it doesn't matter.
