July 22, 200817 yr Could be a game similar to old Interplay's "Sacrifice" or even "Battlezone" with expanded RPG elements. The former being a hybrid of both RPG and RTS if I recall correctly.

July 25, 200817 yr It's a typo, I think. We don't have any plans to work with RTS's at the moment. And here I was hoping, Obsidian could achieve Squaresoft's once Golden age years. The days when Square finally branch out from RPGs into awesome games like Tobal 2(Best dungeon RPG fighting game eva), Bushido blade, Einhander, Parasite Eve, Front Mission 2 (I still find its combat presentation the best amongst all Front Mission series, the Wanzers played out like they are truly in combat instead of standing still). Oh well, next time.

July 25, 200817 yr I am surprised that Obsidian is taking on so many projects simultaneously. Well if they can manage it, great for us - who wouldn't want more excellent games? Personally, I am hoping the unannounced project is KOTOR 3. Storm of Zehir (and hopefully more NWN 2 expansions to follow) plus KOTOR 3 would only mean more and more of my dollars going to Obsidian.
July 25, 200817 yr If you read the other thread active in this section, framerate says they are working on three projects, so the unannounced not-rts won't be in production until SoZ ships. So they are holding to their three project model.
