Why do people compare Dead Space to System Shock? From the gameplay vids I've seen it looks more like a 3rd person survival horror game like RE4 etc.

there was Perseus mandate but that sucked terribly. However within the first quarter of next year the guys who did the origional fear will be releasing FEAR 2: Project Origin

There are two standalone expansion packs. But you might as well wait for Project Origin.

Tomorrow I should receive my copy of Dead Space. I heard the PC version has screwed mouse controls, so I ordered a PS3 copy.

I was waiting a bazillion years for STALKER and that turned out pretty good, so I'm still looking forward to Alan Wake.

I just found out STALKER is coming to Gametap next month. I'm pretty excited about that, I always meant to pick it up, and now I don't have to.

Just the standard SoC. Gametap is only $10 a month, so I imagine Clear Sky is still a bit too new to be given away on their service.

Well since RA3 is a piece of ****, I am waiting for KOTOR 3 and Freespace 3 (that probably won't ever be made), until then I ain't playing any games, better for me and my free time.

I watched the Alan Wake trailer. I don't understand why that would make anybody want to buy the game. There was no "game" shown. It was just a low budget made for Scifi episode of some show.

 

It wasn't as awful as the Far Cry 2 trailers though.

Tomb Raider Underworld looks fun, and I expect that I'll buy that and Left 4 Dead as soon as they're released. Although DRM could kill the purchase of the former...

 

EDIT: It looks like TR:U is going to use the same system as Fallout 3. Unless they change their mind I'll be getting it.

Now that Fallout 3 is out, Diablo 3. And GTA4 I guess.

Keeping my own council as to what constitutes an interesting trailer, I'm still looking forward to Alan Wake. I guess the low budget trailer for Alan Wake beat the other low budget trailers I've seen for other games lately.

I consider an interesting trailer to be something that shows me an interesting game. G-A-M-E.
