Gorgon Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Terrentino is a more than decent director and a really horrible actor, I think he knows and doesn't care, he's in it for the experience. Takeshi Mike directed this, he's usually a lot better at 'weird'. Na na na na na na ... greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER. That is all.
julianw Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 (edited) http://dragonballthemovie.com/ I am cautiously optimistic since I am a fanboy and would see this in theater no matter what... Though I gotta ask: where is the tail??? In news relating to another classic anime, MTV is making a Cowboy Bebop film and Keanu Reeves is set to play Spike. I am not sure what to make of that yet... julianw Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 (edited) ^It's true... There is an Evangelion movie in the making too. I think these sci-fi films should be easier for Hollywood to make comparing to Dragonball or Naruto... where a lot of Asian humor and culture the producers just can't fully grasp. theslug Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 They need to make a Azumanga Daioh live action movie. I didn't watch the entire thing but just give me like 10 years and 6 inches of height and I'll be the pedo teacher. And it'll be awesome. There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.

I don't like Dragonball and I'm insulted by what Hollywood did to the movie. I figured actual fans of the show would be outraged.
