thepixiesrock
I'm probably getting one this weekend, if I can talk my mom into getiing the Pro. Well, really, that's easy, I just know I'll feel guilty about it. Sand
All new 360s have that now. Yes, but not all 360s have 120 gig of hard drive space. Musopticon?
The extra hard drive is needless. The only use I could imagine for it would be movies and music, but you have a computer already, so I don't really see the point of the spenditure. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Joseph Bulock
If you are going to get an XBox360, Jag, the only one worth the money is an Elite system. Not only does it have the larger hard drive, a lot of the kinks the system had at launch has been removed in its production line, plus, from what I have heard, it uses a smaller CPU architecture that doesn't get as hot or at least spreads out the heat more evenly than previous versions of the console. All new 360s have that now. Though any boxes on the shelves right now may or may not have the new architecture. Do some web searching before you shop to find out how to check, as this could be a world of difference in quality of your gaming experience. My blood! Sand
Exactomundo, Mr. B. Microsoft really should have done a product recall on the 360's with the old chip with how flawed it was. Nick_i_am
Hence the extended 3 year warantee, which is basically the same thing. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Sand
When dealing with waranties you take the power away from the consumer and give it to the consumed. After all, they can deny waranties at any time they wish. I prefer things get done right the first time when it comes to hardware so that I don't have to bother with waranties unless I really really really have to. Musopticon?
My friend send his 360 to Germany from Finland to get it repaired. After two weeks, they gave him a new one, the warranty staid, he got a free Gold Live for one month. I thought waiting two weeks a good bargain for all that. Especially since the new machine hasn't malfunctioned or indeed done anything out of the ordinary yet(1 year 2 months and counting). kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Nick_i_am
Eh, mines been fine, a recall would be more annoying than it would be a benefit. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Hurlshort
Can you store porn on a 360? I find it's easier to keep the 360 networked with my PC so I can watch the porn stored in my computer on my big screen TV. I mean, 120 gigs isn't nearly enough, whereas my PC has over 500 gigs of pornographic possibilities.
Nick_i_am
Yeah, i'd likely do the same if I had a real TV, that much porn and a handcream that didn't make my peepee burn. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Sand
Eh, mines been fine, a recall would be more annoying than it would be a benefit. I am thinking a recall on unsold Xboxes. Ones already sold would just fall under the warranty as normal. Nick_i_am
Oh, a retail recall. Yeah, I couldn't argue with that. New 360s also come with HDMI ports as standard now. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)

Llyranor
If all you'll be doing on your 360 is download demos, watch the occasional game trailer, get some XBLA games, and just play games, 20 gigs is more than ample enough. Unless you like to throw money out the window, in which case you should just give it to charity. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
theslug
Can you explain how that works? I'd like to watch the countless gigs of animu and movies I have on my computer on my T.V but I'm quite sure how. Do I have to actually save it onto my xbox to watch or can I just like stream it through or something? I'm scared. There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.
