Pop Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Has anybody played the "Wasteland Merc" mod for Fallout 2? I was getting the patch on Gamespot and it was there in the downloads section. Supposedly adds content but "makes it more like an MMORPG", which doesn't bode well. I was just curious. Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!

Krookie Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Finally got a chance to play Resistance: Fall of Man for PS3 at a friend's house. For what is supposed to be PS3's killer app, this game sucked.

Krookie Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Saw you were playing that, did you get it at midnight last night?

Hurlshort Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Madden 08 looks uglier than Madden 07 I think I'll wait on it. I got NCAA 08 and it's awesome, and I know I won't play both. I'll wait a month or two and then trade NCAA in. Then my college legend and draft pools should be solid.
thepixiesrock Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I've been switching back and forth between Pokemon, Empire at War, and NWN2. I guess I'm just not satisfied with playing one game. The first time I played through NWN2 I would play for like, 7 hours straight. Now it's hard for me to play it for one hour. Tale Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I'm switching between Deus Ex, Painkiller, and reading a book. I should probably throw Final Fantasy IV Advance somewhere in there. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Musopticon? Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 (edited) I love playing a Chaotic Neutral warlock. It's so fun to occasionally go ape**** rather than play a condescending "lawful" good cleric of Kossuth who has anger management problems because none of the party members fit his alignment or persona. Musopticon? Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 That just happened to me as well. I couldn't help but to be nice to the stragglers I saved from undead. The spell system is bitchin' by the way. Though I kinda miss a mass destruction spell. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Sand Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Going through NWN2 again. I like this game. Doing the whole Tiefling Warlock character. Had a Benny Hill moment when I used Frightful Blast on one lone dwarf who was very much running away from a dozen or so villagers with swords. Lasted a good 2 minutes. HA! Istima Loke Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 I have just started "Majora's Mask". One of the best gameplay/storyline mechanic I have ever seen. I think therefore I am? Could be! Or is it really someone else Who only thinks he's me?

Sand Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 I bought Civ 4 fifteen minutes ago. I'm a scared now. What will become of my days with this monster onboard? You might want to buy the expansions. My roommate got them and had spasms that lasted for hours. Also they open up the game for some really wierd looking mods. Enoch Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 I bought Civ 4 fifteen minutes ago. I'm a scared now. What will become of my days with this monster onboard? Good luck! I'd also recommend getting the expansions eventually, but it's probably best to get familiar with the core game before adding all the extra features. Plus, the latest patch for the basic game includes most of the AI improvements from the expansions. And Civ Fanatics is a very useful resource. Check their "War Academy" for tips on getting started.
