Calax
I think it's because MS's systems are much cheaper and easier to get into the hands of the consumers. Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.

Kaftan Barlast
The idea of exclusive games is idiotic anyway. The more platforms you release a game for, the bigger the sales. Laozi
The banter back and forth afterwards is priceless People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.
Haitoku
The idea of exclusive games is idiotic anyway. The more platforms you release a game for, the bigger the sales. Games tailored for a specific platform are of much higher quality a lot of the time though.

Yes, but if the developer gets a bucketload of money from the console maker just for the exclusiveness, it kind of offsets the fewer sales problem. Especially, if the other consoles are selling like ass (as in PS2 vs Gamecube/Xbox.) Azarkon
So why does it seem that Sony is digging its own grave? I suppose one reason they didn't sign exclusive deals with some of the companies in question is because they were confident of their system's competitiveness in the multi-platform market and didn't want to spend the extra $$$, but is that really wise? Still, one can't criticize a trend towards multi-platform games too much. There are doors

Azure79
If 360 gets Metal Gear Solid 4, I'll buy one. MGS4 and Ninja Gaiden 2 are the only games I'm really looking forward to on a console. Oh yeah and that Bioware game.

Xard
Only reason for me to get PS3 is Blu-Ray which is really beating HD-DVD currently. Stupid Microsoft, why did they choose it... Llyranor
David Cage is some wannabe director that thinks all gamers are secretly necrophiliacs. Most of us are, but that's still pretty pretentious. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Meshugger
Necrophilia aside, i liked Fahrenheit. Heavy Rain seems to be the step in the right direction as well--->Necrophilia in HD! Morgoth
David Cage is some wannabe director that thinks all gamers are secretly necrophiliacs. Most of us are, but that's still pretty pretentious. Wannabe director or not, he doesn't flow with the waves, he has it's own idea where "interactive entertainment" (note he doesn't like to use the term "games") should go. At least we won't get another shallow "oh I've seen that 1000times before" game from him. The industry needs more brave men like him, and less necrophiliacs like Llyranor! Yes. Rain makes everything better.

Sometimesthe guys not going with the flow are just using a different stream than you think. So many people got excited about Indigo Prophecy like it was something new and revolutionary. I think they've just never played an adventure game before. About all he did was introduce movie-style cinematography into an adventure game. Agreed, if I want to play mop the floor minigames with groovy camera angles then i'm better off mopping the floor of my kitchen. Maybe then i'd stop getting explosive diarrhea. Morgoth
So you still prefer combining bananas with pots and cat hair in order to advance the story line? Sorry dude, these aren't the 90s anymore.
