May 16, 200718 yr Re: New Reno I'm one of those that thinks it's kinda out of place. The area is fantastic for roleplaying, but it takes the whole gangster thing too far. There are too many prostitutes, too much drugs. Simply a little too much. Stylistically they look like fifties gangsters, but I don't feel like the behaviour fits. It's still a great area for roleplaying, it isn't that. It's just a bit too over the top. Anyway, isn't the main complaint in regards to New Reno (other than that it feels somewhat out of plays) that it's one of the theme towns? FO2 made each of the major town very different and polarized and that is something I've heard numerous complaints about. Re: Fitting it all in Maybe we'll travel through a world map rather than running everywhere?
May 16, 200718 yr I give it about a 17% chance of being acceptable to my standards. Everything in your life has a 17% chance of being acceptable to your standards, even life itself. Of course, you also have an 83% chance of totally ignoring your standards so hey, it evens out. On-topic: Fallout 3 artwork, ha ha.
May 16, 200718 yr If I ignore my standards I would lower myself to the least common denominator and that would be just to horrifying. At least I am willing to give it a chance, a 17% chance. There are some nutcases that wouldn't even do that. I am looking at you Dark Raven. May 16, 200718 yr I give it about a 17% chance of being acceptable to my standards. That's the most arbitrary value I have ever seen. And I've played Final Fantasy games. Edited May 16, 200718 yr by Tale "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."

May 17, 200718 yr 4/3rds of people don't understand fractions. Which is more than you think Edit: As for New Reno in FO2, it felt out of place, I still liked though. It would just have been more appropriate for a 1920-1930 organised crime type crpg... May 17, 200718 yr The resemblance is uncanny. If it's not the Oriskany in the game it's at least the conceptual inspiration. Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
May 17, 200718 yr The resemblance is uncanny. If it's not the Oriskany in the game it's at least the conceptual inspiration. The latter seems most likely to me. Some inquisitive Fallout fan happened upon the public-domain image upon which the artist based this drawing.
May 20, 200718 yr Don't you randomly post pictures from like 2 page ago for no reason whatsoever? Eh? EH?! I don't know about this Oriskany, if it is the same one in the concept art what would it matter? Just that it's DC?
