Sionn Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 (edited) I can't wait for this to come out! Edited April 10, 2007 by Sionn Retreat, Hell! We're just fighting in another direction!" - General O.P. kirottu Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 It needs more ninjas. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
LadyCrimson Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Didn't they film 2 and 3 at the same time, or something? I think they should've released both at the same time, so you could go see one, then immediately hop over to the theater down the hall and see the 2nd one. Assuming one's rear end could take that much sitting. “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
Omelette Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Didn't they film 2 and 3 at the same time, or something? Yup. Both 2 and 3 were filmed at the exact same time. I think they finished filming in February? Or January? I can't remember, but they pulled a LOTR thing, but only two movies. And yes, I share the excitement.
SteveThaiBinh Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 It needs more ninjas. What doesn't? I'm sitting here trying to think if I've seen 2, and I honestly can't remember. Either I haven't, or it was really forgettable. Which is a shame, because the first one was quite entertaining, so hopefully 3 will be as well. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." Guest Accept Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Yeah, i'm quite excited about this. It looks cool, and since i've watched all other PoC movies, i'm probably going to watch this as well. And one of the things i liked in the previous PoC-movies, was the soundtrack. It's awesome.
Omelette Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I enjoyed the first soundtrack better than the second one. Hans Zimmer is great, but the adventurous, swash-buckling of the first was amazing. It just blew me away. And it's so much fun to perform.
Pidesco Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I was under the impression that the second one was pretty damn awful. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! Everyone should cuffawkle more. Musopticon? Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Yeah, it is. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds
Kor Qel Droma Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I'll echo that sentiment as well. I couldn't wait to get out of the theatre after seeing the second installment, and I still haven't watched it on video yet. Spiderman 3 is where it's at, baby! Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Azure79 Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I didn't like either. I thought both were pretty bland. Of course I saw both on a plane during international flights and wasn't really concentrating on the movies so that might have something to do with it.
roshan Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I thought the first one was entertaining enough. Coincidentally I have just finished watching the second, and it has been absolute crap. One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Theres no plot, just random stupidity that can only entertain children with low IQ.
Hurlshort Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 2 had some of the coolest looking fishmen I've ever seen. Seriously, it was worth seeing just for the make-up and sfx.
roshan Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 (edited) I agree they looked awesome. Unfortunately they were basically just cartoon characters rather than a menacing threat. Edited April 10, 2007 by roshan

metadigital Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Ninjas. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
Draken Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I went dressed as a ninja to the second one. I wasn't entertained and therefore broke everyone in the theatre into six hundred and thirty two pieces simultaneously, and then scattered them throughout the realms, all in half a millisecond. Seriously, only like, three people can touch my body
taks Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 apparently a 4th is already in the works... unverifiable source on that, however. taks comrade taks... just because.
Kor Qel Droma Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I've heard rumblings about a fourth as well, but remember reading that not everyone is signed on for that as of yet. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Deraldin Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I went dressed as a ninja to the second one. I wasn't entertained and therefore broke everyone in the theatre into six hundred and thirty two pieces simultaneously, and then scattered them throughout the realms, all in half a millisecond. I'm now tempted to dress up as a ninja for the third one.
Blarghagh Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 It's funny. I've never actually heard someone say anything than praise for the second movie, yet I see it typed all the time. It's like people are scared to say they didn't like the second one except on the internet... for whatever reason that would be. Personally, I loved the second one, and I can't wait for the third. I dig popcorn movies.
Lyric Suite Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 The first one was somewhat entertaining, but the second was pure trash. How can people enjoy **** like this, is beyond me.
Blarghagh Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Well, it had silly characters, monsters, and a plot you don't need to use your brain for. Pretty much perfect for relaxing and still being entertained.
Dark_Raven Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 The second one was awesome. Game Over. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Rosbjerg Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 (edited) Ambivalence would best describe my feelings towards this series. But I will most surely watch the 3rd instalment nonetheless! It's action and well directed action at that - as depleted as that genre is, a good explosion and an ensuring sword/gun/whater-fight can be quite entertaining.
