Tel Aviv Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Thank You For Smoking. Little bit propaganda-ish in places. Even so, I couldn't help but enjoy it really. "The great state of Vermont will not apologize for its cheese!" Also, interesting to see the new Harvey Dent in action, I think he'll fair well.
Guest Accept Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Shallow Hal. Funny Movie. I liked it. Hal: There's Rosemary. Mauricio: Where? Hal: Right there! Mauricio: Is she behind the Rhino?
Deraldin Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I saw Ghost Rider earlier today. It was a fun little popcorn movie, but not much more than that.
Tel Aviv Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 (edited) I heard they CGI'd Nic Cage's chest. Is it true? Edited February 18, 2007 by Tel Aviv
Kor Qel Droma Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I watched the Rock for the first time in nearly a decade or so. Slightly better than the first time I watched it. Did anybody see the Wicker Man? Is it as silly as I've heard? Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

Did anybody see the Wicker Man? Is it as silly as I've heard? It's a remake, for a start, of a classic film (with Christopher Lee!), and I don't think it survived the process intact ... though I haven't seen it. I read that it was a kinda redundant remake (ala Psycho and The Omen) in that it was basically a lesser version of the exact same film. Not sure how accurate an assessment that is though.
Atreides Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I watched Pan's Labyrinth and was disappointed. Spreading beauty with my katana.
Deraldin Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I heard they CGI'd Nic Cage's chest. Is it true? I can't say I was really paying much attention to his chest.
Dark Moth Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Has anyone here seen 'Epic Movie'? I'm just curious as to if it really is as stupid as it looks.
Deraldin Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Has anyone here seen 'Epic Movie'? I'm just curious as to if it really is as stupid as it looks. Epic Movie So bad I was hoping the theater would collapse on me. Then burst into flame. Then get swallowed into a bottomless pit.

kumquatq3 Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I saw Ghost Rider......one of the worst movies I have ever seen Care to elaborate? No, I don't care to talk about it ever again, but to throw you a bone, the best parts of the movie were the multiple times it ripped off Terminator 2. Just bad.
steelfiredragon Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 as far as ghost rider, different strokes for different folks, i enjoyed it, well atleast much more than elecktra and dare devil Strength through Mercy Head Torturor of the Cult of the Anti-gnome
alanschu Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I heard they CGI'd Nic Cage's chest. Is it true? I can't say I was really paying much attention to his chest. Especially when Eva Mednez's chest was on screen!
Baley Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Also: Takeshis' (5), Finding Forrester - I saw this Friday at the US Consulate, Black History Month and all; they should've gone with Do The Right Thing, Malcom X, or, I dunno, Surf Nazis Must Die: The Director's Cut - (6), Rocky Balboa - his demeanor around the barmaid is really endearing - (, Eureka (7), Children of Men - again - (9, maybe 10).
steelfiredragon Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 What did YOU think of Nic Cage's chest? wasnt paying attention to his chest, and wasnt paying attention to her chest all that much either, i was paying too much attention to the morotorcycle Strength through Mercy Head Torturor of the Cult of the Anti-gnome
Deraldin Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Especially when Eva Mednez's chest was on screen!
Pidesco Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Election Pretty damn good. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! Everyone should cuffawkle more. The wrench is your friend.
Tel Aviv Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 What film were you people watching? I want to know about Nic Cage's CGI pectorals!
Tale Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 as far as ghost rider, different strokes for different folks, i enjoyed it, well atleast much more than elecktra and dare devil I know someone who recommends it more than the X-Men movies. But, then again he gets angsty about the X-Men movies for not revolving around Cyclops. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
