Yea I read that earlier. However the article did not use the most recent Vista drivers, so the performance difference might have shrunken a bit.

I didn't read the article. I expect the new Vista design will fruit as soon as a threshold is reached (probably a critical mass of DX10 games).

Well, I went back to XP for my store baught PC. The lil' Sempron just couldn't handle Vista all that well. The new computer will be here within a month and it will have a much better processor than a Sempron 3400.
