Blank Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 (edited) Has anyone played this game? I want opinions. Talk to me people. Edit: Nintendogs. What a name... Edited January 5, 2007 by Blank
thepixiesrock Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I know some 8 year olds that play it, want me to ask them for you? Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!http://theatomicdanger.iforumer.com/index....theatomicdangerOne billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.
Setzer Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 (edited) It got 40/40 from Famitsu. It's the greatest game ever made. " Edited January 5, 2007 by Setzer
Pop Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I've yet to hear any bad review of it. Saying that Nintendo panders to kids and otaku is only a bit redundant. They are Nintendo, after all. Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
Krookie Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I always thought that game was for like 9 year olds who's parents wouldn't let them get a real dog?
Pidesco Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Oh yeah? Well I have three real dogs, so there! "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! Everyone should cuffawkle more. The wrench is your friend.
Hell Kitty Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 My sister has a huge bull mastiff that slobbers like there is no tomorrow, almost knocks me down when trying to take him for a walk, and lets out a bit of wee when getting too excited. The cat buries it's own poo. Cat wins.
Hell Kitty Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 A game where the main character spends most of it's time sleeping probably wouldn't be very exciting.
astr0creep Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Isn't this like Pokemon except with dogs and no balls? :D Oh yeah I have a Pug. A real one. She's 8. I had a nice little kitty that died of kidney failure at 2. Pug wins. http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
Jorian Drake Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Oh yeah? Well I have three real dogs, so there! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> my sis has a wolf
astr0creep Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 My first girlfriend was a real b1tch, does that count? http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
Jorian Drake Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 My first girlfriend was a real b1tch, does that count? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you 'take a walk' with her, then yes! '
Diogo Ribeiro Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Has anyone played this game? I want opinions. Talk to me people. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've meant to buy it for my mother since she still terribly misses our dog who died somewhat recently. Played only a bit but what little I could get from the game is that it's got the whole virtual pet thing and it works great, if you're into that sort of thing. Teach him how to do tricks, make him wear accessories, care for it, then it's on to some kind of championships where he competes. The gimmick seems to last long enough for most but the repetition of the tasks does tend to annoy, though this depends on the player. I'm sure some won't have any problems replaying the game to unlock the dog races. Can't tell you more than that, sorry.
Krookie Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 (edited) In all honesty, my cousin got a DS for Christmas and Nintendogs. She's nine, and she likes it. I don't see why you wouldn't. Edited January 5, 2007 by Krookie
metadigital Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 I'm pretty sure my friend bought it for his daughter, and she apparently likes it ... though I'm not sure if it was the nine year old or the seven year old ... OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
