Has anyone played this game? I want opinions. Talk to me people.

Edit: Nintendogs. What a name...

I know some 8 year olds that play it, want me to ask them for you?

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

I won't pity you if that's what you want.

It got 40/40 from Famitsu. It's the greatest game ever made.

I always thought that game was for like 9 year olds who's parents wouldn't let them get a real dog?

I won't pity you either.

My sister has a huge bull mastiff that slobbers like there is no tomorrow, almost knocks me down when trying to take him for a walk, and lets out a bit of wee when getting too excited. The cat buries it's own poo.

Cat wins.

Nintencats then?

A game where the main character spends most of it's time sleeping probably wouldn't be very exciting.

Isn't this like Pokemon except with dogs and no balls? :D

Oh yeah I have a Pug. A real one. She's 8.

I had a nice little kitty that died of kidney failure at 2.

Pug wins.

I've meant to buy it for my mother since she still terribly misses our dog who died somewhat recently. Played only a bit but what little I could get from the game is that it's got the whole virtual pet thing and it works great, if you're into that sort of thing. Teach him how to do tricks, make him wear accessories, care for it, then it's on to some kind of championships where he competes. The gimmick seems to last long enough for most but the repetition of the tasks does tend to annoy, though this depends on the player. I'm sure some won't have any problems replaying the game to unlock the dog races.

Can't tell you more than that, sorry.

Thanks, that was informative and helpful.

In all honesty, my cousin got a DS for Christmas and Nintendogs. She's nine, and she likes it. I don't see why you wouldn't.

I'm pretty sure my friend bought it for his daughter, and she apparently likes it ... though I'm not sure if it was the nine year old or the seven year old ...
