Darth Drabek
Yes, listened last night actually. I like the slowed-down, coffeeshop feel of it. My friend's version is definitely closer to the Iron and Wine version. Thanks buddy! Kor Qel Droma
Third Eye Blind - Narcolepsy actually I had quite the decent morning at work. I managed to hide my earphones from the boss for a good hour and a half after we opened. That allowed me to listen to pretty much the first 3EB album while stocking, and then most of Thin Lizzy's Jailbreak before I went for coffee. Awesomeness. and thank you youtube, for making me feel old for enjoying theses videos. Musopticon?
Nile - USER-MAAT-RE O Seti, Great One, My Father. I Hath Finished for Thee Thy Temple at Abydos. And Made Known the Lineage of the Blessed. Those Who Came Before. I Hath Exalted Mine Ancestors. I Hath Honoured with the Blood and Sweat of Many. The Legacy of Thy Conquests. T Hath Glorified Thy Temple of Set in Avaris. In Karnak, Hath I Raised the Great Hall. In Thebes, Sublime Monuments, Grand Pylons, Obelisks And Colossal Statues Are Inscribed With My Name. By Divine Right I Hath Usurped the Monuments of My Predecessors. I Hath Created Imposing Rock Hewn Temples. Monumental Colossi in Mine Own Image. Like as unto the Images of Amun, Re, Ptah. I Hath Caused to Rise a Formidable Legacy Carved in Stone. In the Mountain of Meha. Intended to Endure a Million Years. In the Violence of Sekhem. I am Become Montu, God of War in the Two Lands. I Hath Suppressed the Rebellious. I Hath Driven Back Chaos and Disorder. The Conquered Chiefs of All Foreign Lands are Beneath My Sandals. I Hath Emblazoned My Countless Victories in Immortality. Carved in Rocks as Living Images of the Ritual Massacre of Mine Enemies. I am User-Maat-Re Setepene-re, Sovereign of Sovereigns, Beloved of Amun, Chosen of Re, I Hath Made Manifest the Grandeur of My Empire. To be Worthy of Thy Legacy. O Seti, Great One. Darth Drabek
Okay, they definitely don't look like hippies. And you know, they don't sound like hippies either. I was actually a few steps ahead of you, and checked out the site and downloaded the song you mentioned. I'm about five minutes into Repentance and I like it. The music is awesome, and it really carries the song through the tempo and style changes. I would like the vocals to be mixed higher though. I assume she's singing in Finnish? I guess with a name like that you have to rock pretty hard so you don't get put on a bill with The String Cheese Incident by accident. baby, take off your beret everyone's a critic and most people are DJs
Musopticon?
Hahhah, they were just signed up with the American Vendlus records and so their work isn't mixed and recorded all that well yet. The Mist doesn't have anything out besides the demo records. The guitars drown the voice out, which is why it doesn't get so high grades from me, but from what I hear, she sings in English. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Pop
MP3s from Bloodlines. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bah, the Ministry song, the Daniel Ash song and the Hollywood song are the only good trax on that soundtrack. You should replace the rest with better stuff. I'm listening to the Diablo s/t. You can't go wrong with Bauhaus-y goth acoustica. I still love the Tristram theme.
