sion01 Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 please don't bring back mission. I had absolutely no use for her except on Taris and even then she was a hinderance dying by the raguls or whatever they are called and leaving me with just carth or zaalbar.
Judge Hades Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I liked Mission... ...for it was fun to have Zaalbar kill her.
Blank Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I had no trouble with her. I gave her a long-range weapon, like a rifle, and used her for the mechanical skills that I didn't give my character. She usually didn't die. If anyone who makes K3 ever reads this, and they won't, but if they did by some nearly impossible chance, then I say that Mission should come back as a less dumb NPC, whom you can meet or kill or whatever, just to have her story resolved. That way, people who hate her will be able to kill her, people who don't care can pass by, and people who want to know can know. Nobody who makes K3 will read this stuff guys, I hope you know that it is only for our benefit; we feel better for sharing our ideas I guess... yeah, that's it.
KaanFun-We Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I doubt you would see any party members besides Bastila and the droids from KOTOR I returning, at least not as party members. I could see others returning when and if you set the status for Revan, but still not as party members. KOTOR II party members would be more likely to return, mainly because they all bar GOTO survived through the game (oh yeah, you could kill Visas as well)

DAWUSS Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Mission could return, though she wouldn't be the teenager seen in K1. AND NO SHE SHOULD NOT BE A FORCE SENSITIVE! DAWUSS Dawes ain't too bright. Bart Vader Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 obsidian and bioware working together for K3? that'd be sweet. i loved the story in the original but the second had way more and improved force powers. i'm not so keen on the thought of a whole load of revan and exile "name-dropping" like in k2 though. there was a lot of that last time and i think it undermines what you're trying to do in the game. i just hope (if k3 ever happens, and with all of our expectations to live up to it probably won't) that at the end of the game im not left wondering what the point was like last time. also, just a thought here, if your PC starts as a padawan you wont exactly be the leader or whatever like last time. so how about instead of influence being so important, your willpower is a deciding factor in resisting/allowing the influence of the other party members and making your own choices LS/DS.

I do agree with the More than dumb NPC idea though. i think alot of less important characters could come back this way.
sion01 Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I think that if they make a KotorIII they really do need to end the series with the finish of the Revan/Exile story arc. I mean i could see no more satisfying way to end this series than to finally have all the questions awnsered and stories from the previous games. I mean seriously guys think about it. What better Kotor game could be made than that.

LadyCrimson Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Well I think this version has become a bit long in the tooth.
