kumquatq3 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 You can vote for which game you want to be a movie and what movie you want to be a game.
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 And speaking of, has anybody tried 'the Warriors' game yet? Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Archmonarch Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 From that list, Id definitely pick Half-Life for game-to-movie. As for movie-to-game, I am conflicted between Saw and Silence of the Lambs. I think both, if done properly, could make quite interesting suspense/thriller action-adventures. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
Oerwinde Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 I chose Warcraft as my Game->Movie, and Bourne Identity as Movie-> Game. Warcraft mostly because the big fantasy/historical epics with mass army battles are my favorite kind of movies. As long as theres a half decent story to support the setting and cool battles. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
mkreku Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 I was thinking that Gothic could perhaps become a good movie.. if only you moved the plot to modern times.. and then I remembered the movie Escape from New York Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Someone was making a game based on that. Games to movies... Well sticking with the Snake theme MGS. They are halfway their already. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]
Akhan225 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 The movie to a game choices suck...ShadowPaladin has the right idea, a MGS movie would definitely be appreciated by a large audience.
><FISH'> Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Those choices suck bad. For a game to movie i would have liked Dino Crisis 1 or Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee There really aren't many movies i can think of that would make a good game. How about Nanny McPhee?

Surreptishus Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 OMG i was thinking of a memento game too!! but more in the spirit of itrather than the actual film story.

Judge Hades Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 A rather bias poll. I would have liked to voted none of the above or Games to Movies/Movies to Games suck which in most cases they do.
Arkan Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 (edited) They should make a video game of that Mario Brothers movie I saw a while back. It was pretty cool. And sorry, GTA would simply be another run of the mill action movie. Edited October 25, 2005 by Arkan "Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta
Kelverin Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 And speaking of, has anybody tried 'the Warriors' game yet? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I like it. Loved the movie and even though I do not like fighting games it is fun. Lots of background story, starts 3 months before events of the movie. You get to play different warriors, fight against different gangs, train to improve fighting skills, steal car stereo's, breaking an entering, tag over rival gangs, beat up cops, mug innocent bystanders, and beat up homeless people. What's not to like. Plus the immersion is top notch. Bottom line - If you are a fan of the movie and don't mind fighting games you will enjoy yourselves. J1 Visa Southern California Cleaning
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Thanks Kelverin I think I'm gonna go out today and pick it up. BTW do you know if there is online play? Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

Calax Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 I voted warcraft because it's got the deepest world out of all of those... For Games to movies I'd pick either Metal Gear Solid series, or Deus Ex (make it a trilogy) Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Well Kelverin I picked it up this afternoon, I haven't made it out of the tutorials yet, but beating the whinos was a lot of fun. Then to see them get their liquor was priceless. And I'm totally Jonesin on the original cast (well the alive ones at least) doing the voices. James Remar is the bomb. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
