thepixiesrock Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 So, who's your favorite Obsidian Ent. mod, and why? Edit: Alternatively, who do you not like, and why? Lets give a little constructive critisism. Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!http://theatomicdanger.iforumer.com/index....theatomicdangerOne billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.
kirottu Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Teh Big Green. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
Lucius Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Authority. (sorry Eldar, it was a close run) :D DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.
BattleCookiee Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 So, any reason this ain't a poll? " Wouldn't that be better for such a vote?
Calax Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I'm a battlewookie minion Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
Petay Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I'm a battlewookie minion <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As am I, for the sole reason he seems to be most active, although Eldar comes a close second
Walsingham Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I take the Fifth. I'm not angering all the others. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
thepixiesrock Posted August 27, 2005 Author Posted August 27, 2005 So, any reason this ain't a poll? " Wouldn't that be better for such a vote? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, because then you wouldn't have to post who your favorite was, you could just vote and no one would know who you voted for. Also, if you guys try to vote for yourselves, this way we know. Oerwinde Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Well, Eldar was a major poster before being a moderator, and has been around since the old BIS boards, Fionavar was too, but he doesn't do much posting unless he's closing threads or warning us he's closing threads. Authority does have a sense of humor though. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
thepixiesrock Posted August 27, 2005 Author Posted August 27, 2005 You may also post what you don't like about the mods, but keep it constructive, think of them as suggestions for the mods, to make this a happier enviroment. Dark Moth Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Fionavar, aka the Green Dragon. Haven't seen him on these boards in a while, though. Battlwookie and Eldar are cool, too. But I will never post anything bad about Authority. I do not wish to be dragged off to room 101.
Hurlshort Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Eldar, because he helped me quickly when I had questions, and he seems very nice. Not power-trippy (not that other mods are!)
Sarjahurmaaja. Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Fave? Fio. A close tie between him and Authority, but in the Fio wins because I don't know what FLoSD.ObE means and am sucking up. Eldar, while a nice poster and all, has no chance since he also posts as a poster and not only as a moderator. Least fave? Battlewookie. He uses too much smileys and I feel his rulings are often more arbitrary that those of the other moderators. "But I will never post anything bad about Authority. I do not wish to be dragged off to room 101." You must never think of anything bad about Authority. You must love Authority. 9/30 -- NEVER FORGET!
><FISH'> Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 What happened to that mod who used to go crazy with lockings, warnings, and bans? I think her name was Adria, or something like that.
Cantousent Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Sorry, fellows, but my favorite mod is Phosphor. (See the wisdom of that choice?) Fionavar's Holliday Wishes to all members of our online community: Happy Holidays Join the revelry at the Obsidian Plays channel:Obsidian Plays Remembering tarna, Phosphor, Metadigital, and Visceris. Drink mead heartily in the halls of Valhalla, my friends!
><FISH'> Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I like all the mods, mosly because whenever they lock topics they add a little something that will guarantee a good laugh. Here's my favorite so far.
Darkside Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I bow before Fio, Eldar, and Authority. I cannot choose one.
Gorth Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Hmm... Can't say I have much respect for titles, as I know how empty they are. So, not much respect for "El Moderatos" here :)" However, some of the people behind the moderator tags are interesting when they participate in discussions. That sort brings a small advantage to the big green lizard as well as Eldar and "Authority" and a disadvantage to guys like Battlewookie and Shadowstrider, as I don't think I frequent the same sections as the latter when they post. Hydrogen and Antimatter are like the 'X' in an equation, pretty unknown (although we now know why Hydrogen has a female avatar). Does Antimatter still exist or did he go the same way as Seraphim ? “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
Judge Hades Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I bow down to no moderators except those I like.
><FISH'> Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Fino is the most active. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=34486&st=0 That is pure gold.
Volourn Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I like the mod who does his or her job. Game over. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
213374U Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 You must never think of anything bad about Authority. You must love Authority. Yes, yes. Thoughtcrime is death. No favorite for me, at any rate. I'm against authority (pun NOT intended) and all that jazz. "I play by my own rules, not anybody else's, not even my own." - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.
