I don't know much about autism even though I have a brother and his mom on the spectrum. They also believe the rise is mostly because we know more about it and are better at detecting it but they also think there could be environmental factors that could be contributing as well. Stepmom is a little kooky so I don't know how much truth there is in what she says but I mean, microplastics and ultraprocessed foods aren't good for you regardless.

btw, obama used the espionage act to go after numerous whistleblowers and reporters he didn't like. we complained. we thought obama's use o' the espionage act were dystopian. just 'cause it were fox reporters being jailed didn't make obama administration actions ok. to make it clear, am not suggesting an equivalency 'tween trump and obama, but am recognizing that norms were undermined before trump in 2017... much like filibuster confirmation rules.
