Zoraptor Posted April 25 Share Posted April 25 (edited) The general problem is that if you try to satirise something you hate, you almost always just end up ridiculing it instead. Which may appeal to people who agree with you, but to others just looks nasty. (The thing about someone like Cohen- not really my cup of tea, but still- is that he'll give bad people rope to hang themselves with satire wise, but in the end the vast majority of the time they make themselves look bad- and you get the occasional person who comes out of it looking like an absolute legend. Openly admitting they dont really know what they protesting for around " what the University is doing wrong " I remember a time when people use to protest and express outrage because they believed and understood the cause, it mattered and it was about the principle and belief. Im also surprised they took so long to issue\apply for warrants for Hamas leadership, you would have assumed they would have applied for the warrants much quicker considering the immediate crimes that were committed on 7 October that are indisputable apart from the deliberate mass murder of Israeli citizens. The taking of hostages is a war crime so why the delay from the ICC? Anyway better late than never, I wonder if Hamas or the Palestinians are going to enforce the warrant on the 3 x Hamas leaders because Gaza falls under ICC jurisdiction?
