It's more disturbing than funny to think that somebody has found a way to make the lithium battery explode remotely. I hope there's another explanation.

Not sure what would be funny, sabotage operation would be here or the politics thread I assume.  Hopefully no civilians injured (as if Blue team would care that much, heh) although maybe unlikely considering the device.  Edit : Ok, apparently a girl was killed. 

Might not be the batteries being made to explode rather than just the pagers being rigged in the first place.
