I saw a lot of people who were annoyed that the official Obsidian forum didn't have their own poll when the animancy hunter's bow was touted as a community built item, so I figured that this time around maybe I could help some people offer their own feedback. This is in no way because I chose Ring and feel like there aren't enough awesome rings in Deadfire... Well, maybe just a little. Whatever the community decides is fine, I'll just go over here and make my own ring, with blackjack, and hookers!

Yeah I barely caught it in time myself, and while the item type is almost over there should be two more polls coming that will determine the other aspects of the item. I'll post those links as they come, so even if people miss out on the first poll they should hopefully be able to contribute to one of the others.

Are cloaks the same spot as necklaces? I think they are in PoE 1

Amulets and necklaces are both the neck slot in the first game, but in 2 you have a neck slot and a back slot IIRC so you can wear both. Some of the trinkets also appear to be amulets, two of them specifically have dialog about taking them from around someone's neck.

 

The first poll is closed but I'm keeping an eye out for the second, they go for 24 hours apparently and I didn't see the first poll open until a couple minutes before I posted it here, apologies to anyone who comes in between polls or what have you.

More Godlike-themed equipment, like the Heartchime Amulet, would be really cool. Though I’ve already uninstalled the game and am waiting for the next DLC (Monster Hunter calls me), so I’ll let people who are still playing decide what they want.

Ugh, another cloak. Mystic background relation could at least be interesting, although I already played my mystic and was hoping my hunter could get a cool cloak. Eh, no bit deal.

I don't like social media either, but having the poll here wouldn't reach enough people. I just make a twitter and facebook account that I don't use except for stuff like this. There are plenty of other companies that use social media for things like this too.

Twitter seem to have everyone by the balls.

 

Is it impossible to do anything now without using that or Facebook?

 

We have the whole internet and all companies are forced to use them 2 terrible websites.
