So I'm curious if you can achieve this with gears and I list the gears I found that will help with it below:

 

Fire:

Magran's Favor = +3 Fire keyword PL 

Sun and Moon = +2 Fire keyword PL

Pet Pozzi +1 Fire keyword PL

Chromoprismatic Quarterstaff = +2 PL

---------------------------------------------------------------

Frost:

Sun and Moon = +2 PL

Tekehu’s rod +2 PL

Chromoprismatic Quarterstaff = +2 PL

Electricity:

Deltro's cage = +2 Elec PL

Chromoprismatic Quarterstaff = +2 PL

Acid:

Chromoprismatic Quarterstaff = +2 PL

Poison:

Silk Spider Robe = +3 PL

Helm dropped by kraken = +2 PL

Alchemy**: +1 skill = +1 PL

Firethrower's Gloves= +2 Evocation PL

Evoker = +1 Evocation PL

---------------------------------------------------------------

General:

Nature Godlike = +2 PL

Amulet of stone power = +2 PL for one combat

Imp pet Nemnock = +1 PL for wizard, priest and druid spells

---------------------------------------------------------------

There you go + 11 PL with fire spells, +13 if use stone power, +7 ice, +9 elec, +7 acid.

 

Enjoy your permanent Empower blasts :)

 

** Alchemy adds poison spell PL is probably a bug.

There's also the pet Otto Starcat which gives +1 Fire and +5% AoE dmg.

You can have +1 PL from resting (Inn/Food). (Not sure if you can get also +1PL from prostitutes or other semi-permanent blessings)

Overall you can have +14Fire.

After that I don't know what's better +10Mig/Int from Helwalker or +3PL; I suppose it depends if the Helwalker bonuses stack with +10Mig/Int from drugs...  :lol:

What about the Acute inspiration? It gives you +1 PL as well. Doesn't stack?

 

Stats are capped at 35 by the way. So +10 MIG/INT from drugs and +10 MIG/INT from Helwalker could be overkill. At least if your MIG/INT is already highish. Could be worth it to do a build with low MIG/INT though...

 

MIG of Helwalker stacks with everything (passive)  - INT from Duality doesn't (active).

What about the Acute inspiration? It gives you +1 PL as well. Doesn't stack?

 

If you multiclass with a Fighter you'll lose 2 Power Levels of Wizard so I'm not sure its worth it if your aim is to maximise the Power Level of your, say, Fireball.

 

EDIT: I should note it probably is worth it for the bonus Accuracy (does that apply to spells?), just not if your aim is maximising Power Level.

I mean there's also Brilliant which you can gain from a fellow chanter's phrase, right?

Isn't there another source of Acute than Fighter's Tactical Barrage? I tought about some buff from other party members or items that might grant you Acute.

The Priest's Litany of Spirit gives a single target Acute for a base duration of 60s, and as you say there's the Chanter Invocation that gives Brilliant. There may be others but I didn't spot them with a cursory glance through abilities during character creation.

 

If you're going single class then you can also take Prestige at max level for +1 Power Level. So I guess it might be possible to reach +14 (+16 with the Amulet of Stone Power) with Fire spells. Not bad.

Tekehu’s rod gives +2 PL with Water/Frost spells and I don’t think it’s restricted to him.

Holy crap Sun and Moon also have enchant "33% chance to recast fire spell/attack after 0.5 sec". This gotta be auto include item for fire nukers - high level priests, meteor wizards

Um....anyone knows if this affects sacred immolation at all? (Or similar attacks/spells)

^ I’m gonna go out on a limb and assume it boosts either stuff that has the Poison keyword, or stuff countered by anti-toxin (just like Alchemy boosts stuff countered by anti-toxins.)

Yeah you can build a venom theme Wizard/Assassin build with high alchemy now :)

I hope that's an oversight, couldn't you get like +20 power levels just from alchemy in that case?  

 

The Woedica ending from PoE is supposed to give you +1 power levels is it not?  Seems like it would be good to stack with acute from tactical barrage to give you a bit of multi class bonus, or prestige from every single class for a late game bonus.  For monks at least odd power levels don't do much, making the prestige useless without another +1.

I only see 6 poison spells, but some are quite bad. Wizard has one at levels 3 and 5, and Druid at 1, 3, 5, and 6. I guess Wizard and druid multi-classed would be best for a poison specialist. Or go pure druid to get to tier 5/6 faster.

 

If you play with the unique vendor blessing, you can get the potion belt for +2 alchemy and free potions every encounter that would be ideal for a poison and potions build.
