What I mean by the UI wheel navigation is the selection of something in the UI wheels (hotwheel), as shown in the image below. -Change or add a 'release' option. By this I mean for example when using the emote wheel, using the controller, you hold the left button then select an option with the analog stick and then release the left button. Then the UI is closed and the action is carried out. This is faster than the current system of having to press the left button, select with the analog and then press another button. The current system feels somehwhat tedius to use and does not completely feel like a 'hotwheel'. Great game btw, lots of fun!

While playing on PC, my controller disconnected, and when it reconnected, the game is ignoring all my input. I can move with kb and m, but the controller is giving me nothing, only fixed by rebooting. I think it does detect something because I can get the UI button prompts to change to xbox buttons, but I cant actually move or anything

Hi, so i got this issue where i am unable to continue on my play, since the game won't recognize any of my inputs, which makes me unable to do what the game asks me to in the given scenario (picture) Help appreciated, to prevent this issue from happening again, or how to workaround when i encounter this bug. Thanks, Daniel

Bugs i found...
Qwert_Kasock posted a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hello everyone! First, i want to say the best words for creators of Pillars of Eternity! I falled in love with it at first 10 minutes of playing! Sorry for my English. Here some bug i found in Pillars of Eternity 1.03. 1. ALT button isn't working. I changed my control settings (cause default settings actualy is not playable) and set LeftAlt for Highlight Items. Close and save changes. Then i tryied to hold LeftAlt on, but nothin is happened at all. Then i return a default set of Highlight Items on floor (TAB). And it is working. So i beggin' you to fix this problem. Please! I have MS Windows 8.1 x64, PoE 1.0.3. 2. Default control settings - disgusting (rly). Here a best settings, based on 20+ years of game practice and world rpg-gaming standarts: Camera Up - W Camera Down - S Camera Left - A Camera Right - D Highlight Items - LeftAlt (Diablos, Path of Exile, Neverwinters etc.) Map - TAB (Diablo, Path of Exile etc.) Double Speed - E Half Speed - Q Pick All Items from container - R (Skyrim...) Select All Units - Z (cause A is used) With these settings any player would feel more comfort with playing (just try, and tell me i'm wrong ) ) Or Create a Contro Settings Sets (2 ot 3...). Thanks friends! -
Being relatively new to the forum, I have not taken the time to read back on topics of the past, so forgive me if I'm digging up something that's long been forgotten. What sort of community involvement is OE going to have during the development of PE? A great many of us are already beta testers, so that's promising. I'd also love to take part in regular input of the game if OE decides to reach out to the community, but at the same time I don't want them to feel obligated to do so. This is their vision after all, and I would be really sad if it turned into a "try to please everyone" fest. Especially if it's from entitlement people may feel after Kickstarting. I know I feel it, but I'm resisting! On the other side of the coin, I wouldn't like to see things that they ask of us (I'm imagining this taking place in poll form) flat-out ignored in the end. I'd rather not have been given the choice in the first place. All-in-all, I'm happy where things have ended up, and whether OE keeps everyone in the loop throughout, or closes their doors for the next 18 months to only re-open them Willy Wonka fashion, with golden tickets and everything, to something so fantastic words will fail me - I will be very satisfied.
