  3. Should have eaten pizza. That sounds tasty. For being called, "Pennywise the dancing clown" IT sure doesn't dance much. I wonder why they didn't call Pennywise Mr.Bob Gray in the T.V. special.
  4. It should have pizza.
  5. Should have eaten pizza.
  6. I did play Jade Empire and coincidently I finished it last night I enjoyed it thoroughly, I have to be honest I like the Bioware type game design. So where you get a party of interesting characters and you have to make certain moral choices through the RPG journey. I enjoyed the martial art style of combat and thought the difficulty level in combat was just right. And the narrative was full of surprises, especially who turns out to be the antagonist I ended up Romancing Dawn Star. The way Bioware implemented Romance in the game reinforced what I have been saying in the Romance thread. Romance in there games really is optional and doesn't intrude on your game. If I didn't want to Romance her it would have been easy to avoid any Romance chatter But it was a very good game, 70/100 I'm glad you liked it.
  7. I ate a microwavable pizza. Then I finally beat coco in a set in Project M. Top that. UPDATE: I had even more pizza! YAY PIZZA!!!
  8. Now that I think about it; Majesty isn't an RTS. It's more of a fantasy sim game. Although you can vs. other players in it.
  9. Great suggestion Sensuki/Matt516, but I have a concern: Won't more actions due to the speed boost of DEX make the game even more frantic?
  10. I looked this game up and it does look good I love the announcer. He sounds awesome; that's why I was so pleased when a random RISK game for the PS2 had the same announcer. Every game with an announcer should have a Majesty announcer option like the RISK game. It would be hilarious. BTW, did you play Jade Empire? If so, did you enjoy it?
  11. I don't know why, but for some reason I think you'd like the game Majesty, Bruce. It's like if Roller Coaster Tycoon met Warcraft.
  12. And they will never be happy. If you don’t have a gay character in your game, you are homophobic, if you do have gay character in your game, you are homophobic, because they don’t like the character. If women in your game look good, you are sexist, if they look bad, you are sexist, if you can fight with them, you are misogynistic, if you can’t fight with them, you are using them as objects, if you don’t have any women, because there is no correct way how to have them, you are misogynistic. It’s a witch hunt and it’s affecting my artistic freedom.
  13. Anyone here aware of Majesty? Strangely enough a PS2 version of RISK has the same announcer if you go into options and change the announcer from normal to majesty. I liked Majesty and when I saw that option I was freaking out. Good times...
  14. The Library is about plunging into the inscrutable guts of a massive alien structure. If it seems big and tedious, that’s the point. Oohkay, here I was thinking games are supposed to be fun. Well, where artistically inclined see all kinds of things from feelings to references in a surrealist painting, I see only weird meaningless mess. The repetitive levels ruined Halo for me, like the level designers often just made a small part of a level and then copy pasted it ten times in a row. I was never a fan of the campaigns in Halo. I'll stick with Halo 3 multiplayer and ignore everything else.
  15. I agree with this sentiment, she has become the core focus for many people on all things relevant around gender equality. And she is doing more harm than good because of all the controversies associated with her I would much rather hear about how TFYC received there funding than something Zoe did or didn't do. But I suppose Zoe is still a talking point because of the history around how this whole furore began It is cool that TFYC got the funding they needed. They are an example for those who want women or others to be better represented in game design.
  16. I'm playing Super Smash Brothers: Brawl with the project M mod which makes the game actually good. I got five my friends here and we are rotating team doubles. I post on these forums & play BG while I'm waiting for my turn. Currently I'm trying to get better than my friend coco (His in-game persona) who's one of the best Olimar players in Michigan. I'm considering joining the competitive scene after the new Smash comes out. I can't really join it now since the meta game is too advanced. Update: My friends are leaving; just playing BG now.
  17. I'm gonna go ahead and agree with Bruce that we shouldn't jump to conclusions. Fortune favors the cautious.
  18. Yeah, and reload until they fail their saves. :eyeroll: I just fought them for the first time thanks to this thread. Didn't need to use horror or any other save based power. I just had Ran in my fighter pc and had Edwin use acid arrow on one of the spellcasters to interrupt whatever she was going to do. My main pc attacked the other spell caster and I easily took them all down. It was pretty fun actually. Thank you guys for mentioning that fight on this thread. As I said before; I didn't know there was a different way out of the mine other than the entrance. This is my 8th game (I think) of BG, and I'm still learning new stuff. Very fun. EDIT: Spelling mistakes were corrected.
  19. I think Zoe needs to make a full statement around this, the reality is I hope this link is wrong because this will effect her credibility even more. But more important it will negatively effect the various causes she espouses as some people will dismiss the cause or the movement when they should be judging the person. I know how that feels. Very annoying.
  20. Being able to click things fast and precise is needed at the advanced levels, but strategy is still what determines the outcome. In a way it's like street fighter; it's not just judgement. It's judgement, precision, and speed rolled together in a lovely combination.
  21. I have literally never met anyone who primarily cared about the campaign for any RTS; except for Total War. Every RTS player I know cares about multiplayer 10x more than the single player campaign.
  22. Ironically, that Tzar game I mentioned; lets you do just that. You can assign certain units (or all of them) to the ai, and you can even give them broad goals. It's pretty cool. For effective play it's pretty much needed since the battles in that game get extremely crazy.
  23. You know, there are different degrees of tactically challenging, right ? I know. Even so; the point is valid.
