  1. no, the room that you unlock by passing the written test is the training room. to get to the room with the explosives, just create a new student profile at the console in the dormatory section, then select "access learning material."
  2. Try Jango Fett. Try Boba Fett. Hell...Canderous is a real mandalorian! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A few people mentioned in another thread, of the same topic, that Mandalorians don't look COMPLETELY human. Is this BS or what because I wouldn't mind seeing a picture if they're supposed to look different.
  3. so, how would I go about "visiting" the droid factory and the droid planet? do I have to download something or what? I'm technologically retarded when it comes to stuff like this.
  4. on my last playthrough as Sential/Weaponsmaster, without any additional feats, I was kicking severe ass with two fully upgraded micro pulse blasters. I had the Advanced Combat Implant, so I had Specialization for all Ranged weaponry and extra dexterity; and the Multi-Spectral Target Assessor, so I had Precice Shot 3 and more extra dexterity. I was kicking ass on the Ravager. By the end of the game, I had about a half a dozen of those micro pulse blasters.
  5. according to the Prima Guide, on your third playthrough you will get some extra dialog from Handmaiden. And I think someone else mentioned some additional dialog from Atris, and I imagine there are other extras that you might come across the third time araound, as well as on future playthroughs, but who knows?
  6. Who's to say that the Sith that came to Canderous were not the True Sith. Canderous says that these Sith that came to him with the offer retreated back to their Empire and sealed themselves off but he got confused with Revan and Malak coming back as the Sith as he says that he thought it would have been longer before they came back... actually I think he was right because they will reveal themselves in K3. And listen to what Carth has to say on Citadel Station when he meets the Exile, he says that Revan believes that something was behind the Mandalorian War and it was not the Mandalorians choice to attack and that he went to stop it. This now ties together the facts that it had to be the True Sith that came to the Mandalorians. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What you don't understand is that we're in agreement. What I was trying to say was that Canderous didn't know that the Sith that "came to then with an offer" was indeed the True Sith. The reason why I mentione that was because some other members seemed to think that the Sith that Canderous mentioned in KotOR 1, was the True Sith. Canderous mentioned "the Sith" not knowing that he was actually talking about The True Sith. And yes, I remember what Carth said on the Citadel Station. And what Canderous was talking about when he said, "I though it would have been longer before they came back" he was refering to the Known Sith. Because after "the last Sith War" with Exar Kun, the Known Sith were somewhat dormante. What he meant was that he thought it would have been longer before the Known Sith became a threat again. I hope that is post a little easy to understand than the last one, especially considering that we seem to be argueing over something we seem to agree on.
  7. I only went so far as to steal the Bachani leaves and I was STILL able to work with the TSF.
  8. I neglected to mention this before, but that is one of the best explainations of K1 and K2 that I've ever seem. Very well thought out. Perhaps, The True Sith will end up coming to "us" rather than hunting them down in the Unknown Regions, but I certainly hope not. I'm getting tired of seeing the same old planets.
  9. maybe I missed something in your post, but what happens if both revan and exile were light side or one was light and the other was dark. also it would be incredibly (lack of credibility) stupid if revan went into the Unknown Regions and went to the Dark Side, again. It would be very cheesy and unrealistic (in the Star Wars Universe). However, do kind of like the idea of starting out as a Padawan, at the training academy. Also, if Revan went Dark Side in KotOR 1, then Jolee doesn't exist anymore. Also, Handmaiden has to be ruled out because Exile could have been a Dark Side and turned Handmaiden, as well. But I still like the idea of starting the game out as either Revan or The Exile. I absolutely love that idea. You start out as Revan, you pick up Exile along the way and vise-versa and it can work that way, no-matter-what because Sith and Jedi share a common enemy: The True Sith.
  10. Mucka_Heartagram on another thread mentioned "The True Sith Wars." I know that I'm really no authority on game titles here, but a lot of these titles show promise. Dark Horizon Return of the Forgotten Race Return of the Sith Emire The KotOR 2 Patch, now THAT's a good one. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if one these titles made the final cut. A lot of them are that good. Perhaps just The Forgotten Race or The Sith Empire, no "Return of" Maybe The Lost Empire or The Lost Race, or simply The Sith War.
  11. Yeah, that's the obvious explanation given what Canderous says in K1. If you think about it the Mandalorians were located on the Outer Rim and started their war on the Outer Rim. I'm pretty sure that the "true Sith" contacted them out there to get the ball rolling. My question is did they anticipate Revan finding out about them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, in KotOR 1, there was no hint that the True Sith still existed. Canderous was refering to the Known Sith because how's he supposed to the difference between the two? I imagine there are a few differences in appearance between the Sith that "tricked" them and the Neo-Sith, but Mandalore probably didn't think anything of it. "You know they all look alike." lol.
  12. Really, in some instances, "man" is a generic term used to refer to a people or an entity. Like mankind human, "I saw a man. Nothing more." On the "Sixth Day," god created Man. I wish I could come up with more examples, but oh well. Using the term "man" is, sometimes a little more appropriate than using the term "that," "this," or "it."
  13. Not only has it dropped from 14th down to 29th at Amazon it's gone from 4 1/2 stars down to 3 in just two days. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> HELL YEAH!!! I better check up on it right now. See how it's doing. EDIT: It's 18, now...
  14. I don't think those question marks are necessary. That's a good one. I wish one of the developers would chime in with some ideas, but not likely.
  15. What Visas says she saw probably depends on what dialog options you select after you kill Nihilis. I've heard Visas say both "graveyard" and "man" but I don't recall whether my character was man or female. If your gender determines what she says then that might be a dead give away.
  16. Well, the chances of Nihilis being resurrected are actually pretty good considering that at the time of it's death Nihilis could hardly be considered human. I mean, evaporating into a cloud of red vapor. Some people here speculated that Nihilis was a Force Specter created when Malachor V was "destroyed" and The Exile subconsciously severed his/her contact with the Force. A few surprises could be waiting for us in KotOR 3, I'll wager.
  17. It's O.K., you can come on out of the closet. There's nothing wrong with being a trekkie, unless you're constantly making references to Star Trek. In college, there was like 3 or 4 guys in my class that were always making "Trek Talk," refering to specific episodes, using terminology from the series and whatnot. Star Wars fans, or "Warsies?" are little different. I don't consider myself a geek simply because my vocabulary...and my...personality, to a certain extent, has been somewhat "warped" from the countless hours I've spent playing these incredible games. But back on topic: I've never really thought about the fact that there are no female Mandalorians about. Perhaps they're still on Mandalore? Waiting for their husbands to come home from The War? That would be f*cking hilarious: after The War, all of the Mandalorians didn't bother going home, they just started their lives as mercenaries right then and there.
  18. wow...that must have been a pain the ass to type all of that. Thank you for all of that info. It saves the rest of us from doing all of the research and fact-finding that you did. If there are any Moderators "listening," I request that this thread be posted as a Sticky for its, um, informative value.
  19. I kinda agree with Jedi Master D Murda. The True Sith "tricked" the Mandalorians into going to war with the Republic because they saw that the Republic would be weakened or conquered as a result of the Mandalorian Wars.
  20. Where would a person be able to find a picture of a REAL Mandalorian?
  21. Um, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but I think you're screwed. You'd have to talk to Obsidian about traslating the dialog. Actually, unless I'm mistaken, KotOR 2 WAS released in several different languages. Contact Obsidian about getting a copy of KotOR 2 in a language that you might comprehend a little better. go here: http://www.obsidianent.com/contact.html
  22. No, actually telling Samhan that "He's just implicated himself" will NOT cancel that side quest. You can still pretend to work with him, then go and tell LT. Grenn. As a matter of fact, I've gone straight to Samhan before, without saying anything to Grenn. I got the list of stuff Samhan needed, went to Grenn, he gave me the package, I went back to Samhan, and we were off to the Dock Module. Actually, I've stolen the Bachani leaves and was STILL able to work with the TSF and get Samhan arrested. Apparently, you can do it any way you to and STILL "do the right thing" from what I can tell.
  23. so, mockery is it, now? I wasn't serious about that last one, you know. Really, I think The Return of Revan, The True Sith, Return of the Sith, Revenge of the Jedi (just kidding), The Unknown Empire, or The Unknown Sith could work.
  24. Well, BioWare left some cut content on the KotOR 1 game disk's, as well. I don't think they left quite as much, but nothing (that I know of) that makes me want to start a protest like this stuff with KotOR 2.
  25. The first one that i thought of was The True Sith. The True Sith Empire The Sith Empire The Unknown Empire The Unknown Sith The War of Beliefs That last one WOULD work if they didn't cut the Visas/Canderous conversation on the Ravager. "a war of belief that had been fought for thousands of years against an evil we couldn't possibly comprehend." Anyway, I thought some of those titles were good, but then someone came up with The Return of Revan and I liked that one a lot better. Here are the words that I'm trying to work with: Empire True Unknown Regions Belief Attack Return How about "The Return of the True Sith Empire from the Unknown Regions" TRotTSEftUR would be more fun to say than KotOR, TSL, ESB, RotJ, TPM, AotC, or RotS.
