I know this is just a gag thread, but having done some cyber security courses for my job, the vendor had a video covering a study that says goatse, 'rickrolling' and other famous meme link gags - has not improved cybersecurity awareness across the world's population. Surprised me.
Queen of Outer Space & the 80s Flash Gordon make a great double bill. Been awhile since I'd seen either, and thought they worked well together.
In other news, full trailer for Osgood Perkin's LONGLEGS:
THE FALL GUY (2024) - an action comedy romance mystery film. Thought it was a real blast. It reminded me a little of F/X buy with a stunt man than an effects maker.
MOONFALL (2022) - I'm surprised at how much complaint this film got for scientific inaccuracies when most of what is mentioned is explained by the central premise (which is, admittedly science fantasy more than science fact, but once it's established it throws out most issues with science in the rest of the film since youre in an alternate parrallel reality). Would argue that the NASA investigates side of the movie was more enjoyable than the 'disaster film' regular characters try to survive part.
Did I mention I watched Airport (1970) the first if the big 70s disaster films? It's pretty good but I was surprised at how much of the character drama was rooted in marital infidelity.
Opting out of not one, but two, Alfred Hitchcock films, a John Ford film, a Coen Brothers film, a Terry Gilliam film, every adaption of a certain Dumas story, and if you're not that particular about the article "The", then also a Miloš Forman film.
"The Top 10 Reasons I left gaming and became a withered husk of my former self - number 3 will surprise you!"
Maybe break it into parts and pitch each part? Nothing in Fio's post indicates you couldn't have multiple bites at the blog (cue Fio clarification).
Based on Fio's wording, I think they'd want a blog post to tie into Obsidian's games in some way.
Trofiphobia?
I think loss of appetite in general is called Anorexia (not to be confused with Anorexia Nervosa) but is usually a symptom of other things. I would think as long as you're getting enough calories when you do eat and everything is going through your digestive system fine and you're also not dehydrated, the only worry would be if it persists since weight loss is tied to some cancers and other illnesses (but also to more benign sources like stress and reactions to CBD).
Watched LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL
I liked it, but feel like there were a few things that ultimately didn't come together and ultimately I don't think it came together as well as it could have.
