  1. No way, there must be the beheading! I'm sure!
  2. welll whaddaya know....... surprise - suprise....
  3. Pre-rendered backgrounds still rule. For instance, compare Torment/BG2 with NWN (in terms of gfx): NWN, of course, has much better character models, effects and stuff, but its landscapes S-U-C-K so hard!!! Looking the same everywhere, nothing beautiful at all. While every BG2 or Torment location is a piece of art.
  4. That settles then. I won't argue more, cuz you won't understand anyway. No offense, okay?
  5. And who said that I consider ToEE an RPG? It's just a tactical adventure.
  6. My friend has the game (euro version, prolly, but translated by russian pirates - there is no official rus. version). And I really did not see any beheading in the intro movie, and the sex scene was hidden. False rumor, huh? Or maybe it is false rumor that US version has all that stuff? Well, I think it should have. Am I right?
  7. You (or someone else) told me to buy games via inet. Well, it's not that easy here, alright? At least for me. Again, if there are licensed version, I buy them gladly. If not: it's publisher's problems. So stop acting like a freaking paladin defender of the developer's money. And concerning games: well, tastes differ. Although I agree: ToEE is full crap story-wise, but the combat system is the best among DnD CRPGs.
  8. Twas just an example, alright? PLus, BL is REALLY stripped of some thingies, like beheading the vampire girl in the intro and some nudity, also.
  9. I'm not against violence in games. I'm against violence in real life. Let people release their rage and anger in games. It's a good stress-killer. So, violent games are good and there is no need to censor them. Remember Bloodlines, when the euro version was stripped of some real gory scenes? I was friggin angry with that! What's the point? Games just must have those labels: Mature and stuff. And it must be carried out, so no children could play Bloodlines for instance. Kids psychics are not always stable enough to discern the reality from an illusion. But 16 years + - it's pretty much okay. WEll, as long as the person is not crazy or otherwise demented, in which case he must be stripped of not only violent games, but movies, TV-news and many other things! ^_^
  10. Puuk is really funny and interesting person. And freaking talented, to boot.
  11. Another celebrity died lately: "Dimebag" Darrel. He was truly a rock legend. A huge loss to metal/rock community. Ossie Davis..... hmm... can't seem to remember him. Can anyone tell me some of his other works.
  12. Again, it's all about story/atmosphere/style and dialogs. Combat system? I don't give a damn.
  13. Hands off from Troika! They made some really great games, albeit way too buggy. But hell, they are cool still Arcanum, Bloodlines, ToEE.... FFS, it's Tim Cain, Boyarskyi - those are legendary people from BIS.
  14. Fallout graphics are SUPERB! They are freaking stylish. And NPC animations? JUst great! All that gore and stuff, really good work. Plus, the talking heads were fun.
  15. LOL anyway, it seems that we're a lil off topic here.....
  16. Hey, how much harddisk space it requires at full installation? And how many CDs? Or only DVD?
  17. I agree, comrades! Xbox is practically nonexistant in CIS.
  18. I love both systems, as long as they suit the game.
  19. Pleased that you liked it. And yes, I kinda feel that some of my pics are unfinished in a way... Well, perhaps I'm too chaotic.....
  20. It's physically impossible to make a perfect strategy game RIGHT FROM THE START. Are not listening?? StarCraft even now is not perfect. Although quite close. You ever played WC3/SC at all? I mean, not just freaking UMS or Custom games, but ladder??? Plus, WC3 is so much harder to balance, because of all those new features.
  21. Yep, I agree, Squidget. Plus, the magic system: The Force is, by itself, much simpler than DnD magic, so it fits real good into action-based combat, like in Academy. Action gives you the feel of the Force, more presense.. you know. I liked it much better than in KOTOR. But of course, if there was a more complexed magic like in DnD, then action-based would not have been appropriate.
  22. I-M-P-O-S-S-I-B-L-E It's freaking STRATEGY, not an arcade game! And not some childish Ghost..
  23. No, it's the round. And 6 secs/ round is , as far as I know, only in CRPG Dnds.
  24. Thanks again. Here's an update: I'm kinda new to coloring on PC, plus I don't have a tablet, so I had to do it with mouse.... but think it could be worse ^_^ Anyways, here is my Nameless Mage.... (first thought to name him after Milamber, but then reconsidered.)
