Icewind Dale II problem
I did that the first time through, it's not impossible. For example, every identical-looking area has a separate map, in which you can mark where each road takes the party. In a way, it is like making a map, someone might think it tedious, but I thought it was pretty cool, something that was missing from the IE Gen of crpgs.

What are you playing now?
All-new? The first part of it is two years old and the second (most recent) part is a year and a half. Pre-edit: What...the...heck?! PART THREE IS OUT?! ASGDJAPSDGAPSDG I need to go home to play it! It actually adds two chapters this time, "Depth Charge" and "Pegasus" that brings an end to "Minerva:Metastasis" (but not the whole Minerva thing). I'm stuck in the part after I blow up the nodes in the very end of the singularity beam, the place gets blasted to smithereens, I take an elevator to the top and it gets stuck halfway. I can't seem to be able to jump from the broken window or indeed go forward in any way.

Anime recommendations: Part 2
I started Kare Kano because this dude kept going on how superb it was. So far, I'm glad I did. It's really something.

Help me decide, Obsidian Forumites
I wouldn't say excellent puzzles, but it is the best Elder Scrolls thing since Redguard. The difficulty isn't insane anymore, so you don't have to metagame the **** out of the system, the story pulls you in, it's visually imaginative, engrossingly crafted and the few characters that are built upon are about a hundred times more interesting than the sorry sods in Oblivion. Yes, it doesn't do away with some of the flaws in the main game, but the additions fortunately overshadow them.

Project Origin
Yeah, you can't really improve without implementing new technology at this point, I was just making a passing comment that the palette of shadows and textures they're a using is very reminiscent of FEAR, a bit too much even.

oooh any good? i haven't had a chance to listen to it yet... Well, yes. It's better than Annihilation of the Wicked, but nothing close to Black Seeds of Vengeance. They've dropped the tempo at parts and the chugging, yet catchy rythm in the final, Even the Gods Must Die works a lot better than...say, Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten's droning and dull riff. There's several memorable riffs and solos and the songs in general are top notch, it's just a bit more difficult to catch on than the previous album. Also, there seems to be a larger amount of Lovecraft in it. The two show-starters, What Safely Can be Written(of Chtulhu) and As He Creates, So He Destroys(of the Mad, Blind Piper) both have nothing to do with Ithyphallic influences. It's up to your if this is a good thing. What I found annoying was that they've taken a step out of mysticism and also completely forfeited the lyrical explanations. I consider it a con. BREAKING NEWS! Microsoft and Bungie split!
Right, and Half Life 2 was built upon the ideas introduced Halo 1, that's why it was trite and dull.

CRYSIS Singleplayer Hands-On
Far Cry kicked my ass so much in the beginning, before I got the hang of stealth and ambushes(Read: found the silenced mp5 and a bush). I hope they don't have the ridiculous boss design of Far Cry though. I don't want to shoot another helicopter while avoiding swimming mode in a sinking fighter.

Project Origin
So, the Akira fps does it again. Admittedly, it does look like FEAR 1.5, but I wouldn't mind more of the same since FEAR was so tasty, not to mention that Comdemned was impressive. Monolith are just becoming better and better. Still, I'd like Shogo 2.

- SECESSION! Groups plot to split the USA
Could these States actually survive alone? I mean, I understand something like California seceding from the Union, since it is the third richest "nation" in the world, that kind of economy, not to mention location, could possibly trudge on their own, but some States are dependent on the Union to survive. It would be interesting to see how seessionists would deal with food import, foreign trade, etc. :D- Two Worlds

I'll play the rolepaying card here in my defense: I always roleplay specialist characters. That means restricting monks and druids and such from a variety of lucrative and metagamy things.- How was the next next day?

I've been thinking of starting as a Monk in MotB, once I get it and a working computer, and am looking into the viability of this build in the rather more difficulty-oriented combat of the expansion. In a nutshell, is a pure a monk a possiblity in regards to survival, or should I branch into other classes and how would I go about it. Thanks in advance.- How do I do this: A Neverwinter Nights 2 Mod question
