Dismember - Override to the overture I adore the old school Swedish death. That pioneer spirit is so very present and it's not all gore-themed yet. Albums like Edge of Sanity's Spectral Sorrows and Hypocrisy's Penetralia are both great examples. Not that the music is always that good or better than the later albums, but I don't exactly dig the whole americano-gore influence that's so goddamn prevalent nowadays.

I think the history is rather tacked on. I never liked the premise that almost every major historical figure and god is an alien. I was half-waiting for an Attila character to spring somewhere. That said, I really like their visual style and the show kept me entertained for a long time.

Oh for ****s sake. I had nothing to do with the previous remarks. And mine was hardly harmful. Ok then, I mainly play males. Mostly because I don't get off from pixel characters and therefore the "prefers to stare at a female avatar"-syndrome doesn't apply. I mostly pick what looks fitting, and cool - this applies both to looks and se...gender. Case in point, I played a Tremere female in Bloodlines, because I thought the gothloli outfit was nice and it was refreshing to see an avatar with glasses. The guy was just some dolt with a red shirt. On the other hand, I found the venture male to be a much better-looking alternative to the female. And the lawyer-look just fitted the character I was going for. That Bates-face and demeanor, the one where it seems like you can snap anytime and yet keep your cool in all circumstances. Even when you axemurder demons in the Kappadocian pits. Fair enough answer now?

How is Medieval 2? I'm contemplating whether to skip Dark Crusade and buy it for me christmas. So far mostly every purist in the communities I inhabit hates it, but I don't really care for realism and have so far thought that every CA game was great out of the box. Well, with the exception of Barbarian Invasion. Steppe vandals ffs.
