  1. I'd say the new one, Emissaries, is the best one by far. Spynxh is very good also, but I hold a special liking to Djinn, because it was my first Melechesh album. Spynxh and Emissaries are more coherent by far and there the sound is more refined, but Djinn has some amazing tracks, like Oasis of Molten Gold and Siege of Lacish. I haven't heard the first one, As Jerusalem burns.... yet.
  2. Hey, now that you comic geeks are online, could I get a rundown on the terminology? You know, trades, hardcovers, etc?
  3. I just might have to visit the Helsinkian comic import store this Christmas. Thanks, Meta.
  4. What Sandman is that?
  5. It just means that Kasavin is sucker for teenage romance. And relatively bad combat.
  6. I think the horrible Swede could be right. I've only played the demo, but I can agree with most of the complaints. I mean, no of the enviromental traps were anything but just that, a set of barrels on a rickety contraption or some block of wood tied to a cuttable rope. And that was everywhere on the level. Same goes for the spike things....what are they even supposed to be? Why not weapon racks, satues with weapons or brazers or something more believable? The kick? Well, I stood next to a chasm and kept pushing f2(which summoned an orc) and f(which kicked the orc down, everytime). Sorta fun in an exhausting way. They could have implemented some kind of countering ability for the enemies, since I could just kick enemies to the precipices and see them fall down. Often I took no damage. This is definetly bargain bin material. And I was originally totally hyped by the team members(Thief modders, ex-LGS folk, goddamned Arkane wonderboys) the concept(fanatsy HL 2 anyone?) and the coverage.
  7. So, how about no one posts any un-filtered NWN 2 spoilers here? I probably won't get the game till February and I know I'm not the only one.
  8. I'm listening to Melechesh(Scribes of Kur), downloading the OST for Rune and waiting for FMA episode 43 to load.
  9. That is like the most awesomest thing since the Watchmen compiled edition hardcover.
  10. I will. The last couple of parties have completely brainwashed me to Dulli's works. Consequently, the badminton table broke in two parts at the some point. Probably somewhere around the time when the Abbath-lookalike asked the bearded woman to sit on it. Goddamn that choker by the by, I still have marks on my neck. Afghan Whigs - Gentlemen
  11. Black jeans and a seagreen sweater along with these huge army boots.
  12. Absolutely gigantic Halloween party. I can still only barely remember everything that happened, but I know I was at least once I was dressed as a catboy and wearing a pirate flag while talking with a guy that looks like Orlando Bloom even though he was wearing a lion mask. Neil Young & Crazy Horse was playing on the background, along with the sounds of a bunch of drunken witches trying to play some semblance of badminton, and the wine was really really cheap. It was awesome. Melechesh - Ladders to Sumeria

There are theses huge boulders of snow outside for drunken college girls to stumble into. A humongous amount of snow.
  14. Conception is always a step in the right direction.
  15. How about making babies? Does that equal creation?
  16. Creating life is not omnipotence.
  17. Shorts and a collared shirt, both grey.

Nah, I'm saving that for when I'm really drunk.
  19. I've never heard of them, but I can guess the genre. :D Michiru Ochima - Kelas(Let's Dance) with Mockba International Symphony Orchestra Breathtaking. Edit: Rune OST - Approaching Ragnarok Ok, the most epic soundtrack ever. I am having tears in my eyes and being giddy at the same time. Goosebumbs is a stupid apellation for the cataclysmic feelings running down my spine and vertebrae. Ragnar's Theme is quite possibly the best game tune ever.
  20. Primordial - Cities carved in stone
  21. Which reminds me, I have AvP 2 and Clive Barker's Undying lying on the shelf. Celtic action horror and dystopian scifi madness galore. I've been hearing good things about Condemned, but i wasn't really hyped when I played FEAR and so am rather doubtful. Heh, Monolith is a great team and I usually trust their vision of quality(NOLF! Shogo!), but I might have to pass the game. Shalebridge cradle should have been on that list, it has only one fault(the end of memories, when you go in yourself, the staff is easy to dispatch and not scary at all) and even that can be overlooked if you are one of the people who like relief at the end of scary levels. As for SS2, I still haven't played it. Edit: Thief:Dark Project, anyone? Pretty ****ing awesome game and absolutely horrifying undead levels. Edit2: Hello, biggest ****ing scare of the decade, discounting the moment with the decapitated mannequin in Silent Hill 3:
  22. Primordial - the whole Gathering Wilderness-album
  23. I've never played the original Silent Hill(they should make a remake out of it), but if we go with the whole "one game-one series"-thing, then the list is almost spot on. With the exception of Doom 3 being on the list and Undying being absent. Undying is still pretty freaking scary. And damned original.
