I'm gonna be broke! :(
A girl in the dorm is gonna buy FF12 and I'm fairly hyped for it too. As for Dark Messiah, well I'll look into the reviews and find out how moddable it is first.

Lost in a good book
- Just got Gothic 3...
Well, Troika is perhaps not the best example, since they had enough time to do whatever in the world and used that time to sit on their asses instead of finishing and polishing, which resulted in a flawed game and downfall.- I'm gonna be broke! :(
Dark Crusade!!!!! and possibly NWN2. I'm gonna eat tuna and egg noodles for the next six weeks.- Now that NWN2 is finished...
The first "beta" of Liero was done around -94. And man, it was awesome.- Lost in a good book
"We...think alike" Another great one would be Strange and Mr Norrel. Low magic, low key and so lovely Victorian.- What are you doing right now?
It- You know you've played too much K2 when...
That's the informal way to say "I'm not one of you". *salutes you* Then again, I've yet to buy the game.- What are you doing right now?
Exam in two hours. Whee.- Get the NWN2 manual here
Every spell does that.- Now that NWN2 is finished...
^You, mister unknowndude, have taste. Please post more often. I live in a dream! My life is a failure! :'(- Get the NWN2 manual here
I use that in the beginning of every fight. Spell distruption rocks. Force missiles are even better though, once you get them.- Luke Skywalker : Force Ghost
Shouldn't you read all the post before replying?- Now that NWN2 is finished...
Ravenloft is too gothy. But if it really needs to be a gothy world; please someone do a crpg in Hellsingverse. ^______^ S-T-Y-L-E. And it has a huge amount of balls. Attitude without being punky or emo. And the lore is rich as well. Just keep the stupid giant-boobed police girls away and throw in shovelfulls of Alucard. Mmm-mmm.- Now that NWN2 is finished...
If I had to play a generic "save-the-world-and-kill-demons-and-bush****-elven-damsels"-crpg in generic fantasy world, I'd like it to be the richest one: Dragonlance. That thing is so good, the novels are awful, but oh the world is so good Tolkien-strain apocalyptic high fantasy. A serious crpg should have a different world, however.- Now that NWN2 is finished...
Dark Sun ftw- Movies You Have Seen Lately
It's the quintessential drama series. The actor of the mother should get an Emmy.- What are you doing right now?
Stopping history and watching an episode of FMA. I suck. But at least my taste in music is borderline good.- Sam & Max: Episode 1 - Culture Shock
I'm so gonna buy Bone when they finish all of the episodes. I love the comic.- Get the NWN2 manual here
Uh-huh.- What are you doing right now?
Heheh, cleric of protection and righteousness dualed to a blood-mad fighter. :D I should totally read history now. And I will.- Movies You Have Seen Lately
I haven't watched a lot movies lately, really I only caught some parts of Kurosawa's Ran and wasn't terribly impressed, but I have to say that Weeds is the drama series for me. It's just so hilariously funny in it's way of portraying people as grey, not black and white. Almost beats Nip/Tuck and Six Feet Under.- Now that NWN2 is finished...
You'd think it was easy to do a D&D crpg from a different perspective though. I think we are just very very biased(not in a bad way) thanks to the fact that that top-down crpg style has been the best way so far that a D&D crpg has been handled. Well, it's almost the only way.- Get the NWN2 manual here
Did I say that? I just stated that those spells that tend to make the most damage get used often. Of course it changes with how much power you acquire and how your level adjusts the enemy's toughness. Consider that it's combat crpg , you get fireball early(relatively early at least), it does an increasing amount of elemental damage(common damage reductions can't hold it back) as you level to a whole lot of creatures and the next similar thing(of course discounting cone of cold, since while it's an area of effect spell, it's not the same) you are going to get is what....sunfire? So, fireball going to see a lot of use. And, if I recall correctly, you can adjust the area of effect in 3.5. No killing party members anymore. Isn't the most common enemy in crpgs goblinoids anyway? Fireball kills them in droves(exceptions occur of course). But, I agree with you. There are far more useful spells.- What are you doing right now?
80 pages...left... Though with this and this, time flies by. - Just got Gothic 3...
