  1. And since I spammed this to no end, here's where I pay wages of my sins - via on-topicness:
  2. Assyro-TotJ-era looks, a new director and a killer cast=instant musopoints
  3. I'm delighted and thoroughly elated on the prospect of seeing Thiefie's reaction to Wemic.
  4. Yeah, anyway. This always happens with new games. No game has a perfect record. And there were quite a bit of blaming reviews just after launch too. Just as there are new shining ones coming out even now. Just check here: http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/922154.asp?q=NWN%202
  5. Ah, but it matters not what your avatar is when you are doing a sweet, sweet lobotomy to a dozen grues.
  6. Sorry, inside joke instant reaction("You failllll!!!! A puppy dies!"). I'll blame MSN and delete it.
  7. Am I a sick bastard since I found the thread title insanely hilarious? Of course the act is horrible, but some things you can't face with anything but humour. Some tragedies must be laughed at, to withstand them. And you gotta admit, the "other white meat" joke has never gotten old. :D
  8. Preach it. Primordial - The Gathering Wilderness
  9. Or the fear of it. I don't actually think I've played female that many times. I've never felt that changing the gender ment much besides having a different personality to romance and a different avatar anatomy.
  10. Yeah, I suppose there should be a race relations table and checks. Kind of like how different races specialize in different enviroment:
  11. Affecting the enviroment was a pretty big step in FPS genre evolution. Half-Life didn't pioneer in it, but it was probably the most prominent one to feature it. Another thing that you could call evolution was being really 3-D. Large open spaces utilising both axis' and the ability to traverse them. Starsiege:Tribes is easily the best example of this.
  12. I've leaned forward for so long that my spine is twangled and curved. It's not like I can't sit straight, but I prefer my L-posture. I walk straight though, it looks less creepy in public.
  13. Cracks or no-cd patches are entirely acceptable as there's nothing illegal involved since you have already bought a copy of the game.
  14. Nihilus is an anomaly. He's unnatural by principle. And by the by, certain plants can drain a soil dry of all resources, parasitically kill host trees and drain all oxygen from an entire lake. Are they evil?
  15. ...tempers? I think the charisma thing has more to do with the fact that dwarves are naturally reclusive, not exceptionally social and differ quite a bit from the normal humanoid beauty archetype. I mean, sure you can offset ugliness, short stature and xenophobia somewhat with a good personality, but that still doesn't give you a charisma that compares to say a half-elven bard, succubus or a trained agent.
  16. Well, Finland is not a part of Scandinavia. It's part of "Norden", but not Scandinavia.
  17. For the same reason Massive didn't have a breakout with Ground Control 1/2 or Funcom with TLJ and Dreamfall - they are Scandinavian. Damn shame.
  18. I'll be probably trying Dirge of Cerberus in a few days.
  19. That's the only way for a true guitarist to live. Guitarjutsu, ya know. Or perhaps guitarkido. Turmion K
  20. Oh, ok. I'm currently feeling slightly annoyed by the fact that a chief mod, the head honcho somewhy(hahhah) got grumpy from mere thread evolution. Ease up a little.
