  1. Yeah, nothing about those Avowed info sounds bad to me. Races, I don't mind, I can understand some would. Classes, don't need them in a more single character game, PoE had too many in any case. The whole thing about oath and employment is just setup, every game forces you a main plot anyway.
  2. Seems like that might be fixed https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d4/t/hotfix-8-june-11-2023-102/44793
  3. Starfield looks like it's going to have way too much content for any of it to be meaningful or interesting.
  4. That Avowed trailer didn't really tell much. It's pretty much just "we got graphics!"
  5. That's really sad, it seemed a very interesting world from DE, and it was obvious there was a lot of thought put to it outside of the scope of the game.
  6. Alternative joke: Blizzard hard at work trying to get rid of their frat boy image.
  7. This'll get all the horny teenagers playing! Wait, Megan Fox? Horny 30 year olds then.
  8. You can't complete areas 100% immediately, more stuff appears as you level up or progress through the campaign.
  9. People seem to up in arms about this.
  10. I dunno, Kai Leng annoyed me way more than those things.

  12. Oh, I forgot to say this about D4: I have below min specs, and D4 keeps telling me to upgrade my ****, but I had absolutely no trouble running it. Some textures are a bit bland, that's all. (One crash, and that seems to have been a server issue)
  13. Finished the Diablo4 campaign yesterday. It was ok. People seem to really like the tone better, I've never been able to tell the difference. Act 1, 4 and 5 (out of 5) had some neat moments, but otherwise I felt it was monotonous "let's run after the baddie" stuff. Felt the drama between characters was mostly too forced, couldn't care about a lot of them. Inarius was good, but should have been more prelevant I feel, Lilith was too prelevant but was ok otherwise. The rest were a bore, outside of a spoilery one. Gameplay... I'm not sure what to feel. I've been playing Barbarian, and the enemies in the game run around a LOT, so you need lots of movement skills as a melee character. And it still feels sluggish. I'd have a try some different characters and builds to give an honest opinion.

  15. They're surprisingly varied and well written. There's over a 100 of them though, so I might just have not gotten to the boring ones yet. Mechanically it's still Diablo though, go there and kill stuff, maybe with a few gimmicks.
  16. Impressions in general seem to be positive, so far.

  18. Started Palace of Ice, the Solasta DLC. Kinda boring to be fighting against Soraks, again. Hopefully it'll change soon.
  19. https://www.gamewatcher.com/news/daedalic-entertainment-has-another-lord-of-the-rings-game-in-development Personally, I thought a game about Gollum was a lousy idea. He's not relatable, likable, there's no story potential unless you want to retell the LotR story, he's got no skill set that would make for variance in a game. Haven't played any LotR game either, so can't compare.
