  1. Started playing Old Skies. Seems good, liked other stuff by this developer, this seems good too. A bit more scifi than supernatural/mystery/horror this time. Classical point-and-click, so there'll be moments where you'll click at everything to try to figure out the solution. Or you can just google, if you don't want to roleplay living in the 90s.

  3. Tried this Clair Obscur thingy, since it's getting so much hype. Don't like it that much. Too much dodging and parrying and QTE. I'd prefer if it was just pure turn-based. Story seems okay. Would refund if the prologue wasn't so overlong I had to play over 2 hours to get somewhere.
  4. In Korea, Starcraft2 wasn't super popular but the Starcraft brand is very well known. So, time for a quick cash grab game!

  6. WotR is linear longer, so it's harder to completely miss stuff. But you'll miss some things, like Mythic Paths. So if you want to be a Lich, yeah, use a guide. I have this problem with every RPG.
  7. Finally managed to complete a playthrough of Avowed. Got quite bored of the repetitiveness in the 4th area. Weell, it was ok. Plot was good enough, but didn't like the characters that much in the end, Lödwyn especially was just confusing. Ending didn't show the results too much, for the Dreamscourge they just said "ok, it's fixed now, everyone go home". Kinda think the whole thing would have worked better as a DLC side-story to a PoE game.
  8. Played a bit of Blue Prince, which is receiving a lot of indie-hype. Didn't feel it was worth the hype. Not a bad game of sure. Feels too random.
  9. They switched most of the stats fiddling to items in it, compared to DA:O or DA2
  10. I have 650 hours in the first game, and I only used auto-resolve. So if it'll be like that, I'm fine with it.
  11. It's classic D&D, there's tons of debuffs, and you have to have the specific spells to counter each one with you. Kingmaker is overall a good game, but there's a bunch of different design decisions I didn't really like. Like all crisis are basically loads of **** thrown at your kingdom until you solve the main quest. Meaning it's not really a "build your kingdom" -game, more of a try to not make everything fall apart. Speaking of which, I'm trying Wrath of the Righteous again. Played it through once already, now trying to actually get somewhere on Core difficulty, with a different Mythic path.
  12. That's why you announce everything on April 1st. You just get news coverage from speculation if stuff is real.
  13. Tried Gothic 1 remake demo. A couple of things in the UI are really annoying: - No pause in menus, so have to save far away from monsters. - Subtitles appear at the same speed as spoken dialogue, so you actually have to listen to the bloody thing to know what's being said. Can't see myself playing the full game if they at least don't fix the latter one. The first one I could maybe deal with, if the rest of the game is really good.
  14. A bunch of stuff got announced in something called "Future games show". Personal favorite: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2347080/Frosthaven/
  15. AC Shadows out tomorrow, lots of drama to have, hopefully. I hope this one's real https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1902203374587801602/vid/avc1/580x360/Vr49r3FT0xDZekWZ.mp4?tag=16
  16. I also felt it had very little bugs. Always hard to notice ones that have to do with numbers etc, but I'd say for games in general, it was very stable. I'd prefer a PoE3, but I'd play Avowed2 as well.
  17. Mortismal made 3k from people hating on his DAVe review. Also mentions Alpha Protocol.
  18. Is there any reason to play the AoW games if you just auto-resolve the combat? Planetfall is the only one I played and I did that, and it was pretty boring.
  19. It has lots of parkour, but the city designs are very unrealistic, so I found it not as appealing as in Avowed.
  20. That's high praise. I like Avowed, but wouldn't but it near the top of Obsidian games. (Currently still in the 4th area, as I got sidetracked into replaying the PoE games)
  21. Mortismal got his patch. Would you trust a reviewer who doesn't have the patch? https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEQ7KR9enYdQsB6kcMnw0NA/community?lb=UgkxsJMxrGPLHKIsQdWktS55UrJS8cjQ7qQn
  22. I think it's just based on the number of targets described in the quest? There's definitely more than one bounty where you have to pick several heads/trophies/whatever. But yeah, there's no game mechanical logic to it.
  23. I've recently fallen in love with Tim Cain "don't make me says acelips one more time"
