  1. The murder mystery DLC for Outer Worlds, isn't really much of a murder mystery...
  2. Playing a game called Seance of Blake Manor. It's an adventure/investigation/deduction game with a horror theme, set in late 19th century Ireland. It's first person view and lots interactable things, but the major twist is there is a time limit. Time doesn't go forward in actual time, or movement or even changing areas, but only by interacting with things. So instead of clicking everything and then trying to figure out what to do, you have think about your actions constantly. The mechanic was a huge turn off for me at first, it felt very arbitrary because it wasn't always obvious what thing had important info attached to it, and felt it encouraged save scumming. But once I got past the prologue, it seems there's much more leeway and it works fine. But maybe it'll all come crashing down on me later, when I find out I shouldn't have spent all that time going through ladies pants drawers.

  6. Played a bit off Endless Legend 2 early access. Looks really good. Thematics are on point (Amplitude are generally good on that), graphics looks pretty, it runs smooth (smoother than Endless Legend 1 does for me, wtf). Mechanics don't know about yet, haven't played enough. Only thing so far I really didn't like is no governor heroes. Those were quite fun in EL1 and ES2.
  7. Hmm, what to play, Endless Legend 2 early access, or new Stellaris DLC? Ended up playing Deep Rock Galactic Survivor instead.
  8. Looks like that has finally started getting net positive reviews on Steam. I haven't played it, but supposedly it's the same as the developer's other games, which would mean that production is the best resource so take any early boosts to that ASAP.

  10. In time for the sequel. Though I actually have other stuff to play, so will probably wait a bit.
  11. Looks like people are not into day-0 DLCs anymore: https://www.eurogamer.net/vampire-the-masquerade-bloodlines-2-to-refund-all-premium-editions-following-backlash-over-paywalled-clans

  13. But basically, NWN2 EE has mixed reviews on steam. Two reasons: - it adds very little to the non-EE - it has problems with the fan made content, so anyone with their Ozymandian constructions of mods and persistant worlds and stuff will leave a thumbs down.
  14. In the character creator, if you clicked next or previous, it would play the voice file you were moving away from instead of to. I had no problem with that fight. I didn't find a quick save button in the key mapping, I'll take another look when I have time.
  15. Played the prologue of NWN2 EE. Seems the same as the original, maybe they changed the menus a bit? Didn't find a quicksave function, what year is this.

  17. You could always go the subtitle route. Instead of "BG4", do "BG: Lower your expectations".
  18. Played some indie stuff lately. The Roottrees are Dead. Good, but gets a bit too convoluted by the end. Needs American knowledge to figure out without googling. No Sase Should Remain Unsolved. Great. Had to google what type of day inputs it accepts, but otherwise managed it by myself. Sea of Stars. Gave up after I realized I'd have to dodge enemy attacks. Just make a real turn-based game.
  19. Playing the Obliviion remake. Not having played the original, I can now see why Skyrim is so highly regarded, because it's miles better than this.
  20. I don't think you're supposed to be able to have more than 6 people in your party, but you can have stuff like animal companions.
  21. Remastering is where the money is: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2623190/view/536600287259918691?l=english
  22. Started playing Old Skies. Seems good, liked other stuff by this developer, this seems good too. A bit more scifi than supernatural/mystery/horror this time. Classical point-and-click, so there'll be moments where you'll click at everything to try to figure out the solution. Or you can just google, if you don't want to roleplay living in the 90s.
