You also have to have had the encounter with Visas, as well. I'm not sure why, but apparently it's important for your character. It may have something to do with facing Darth Nihilus later on.

The access codes to the power system are on the console where you were being held. You can even switch the two protocols from that console.

HK-47 is by far the funniest KotOR character; ever!! Almost all of his responses are funny. The only other character who comes close is Jolee.

I don't think there is one for the Xbox version. There may be a no-clip option for the PC version. Did you try disabling the security at the console where you met Kipf? You have to disable his console as well as one other on the opposite side of the palace. After that, you should cut-scene right to the palace door being open.

Well, you get one part on Telos. All of the other parts are available on Nar Shadaa, Onderon, Dantooine and Korriban. It all depends on which planet you visit first. I always go to Nar Shadaa first because I find it easier to get my lightsaber parts quicker.

Solo mode will not work. You have to go to the party selection screen and remove everyone from your party. You'll know that you succeeded when you see only your pc on the screen. After that, you can complete the quest.

I was always under the impression that the ability to feel and/or wield the force was the defining characteristic of being a jedi or sith. The lightsaber is the preferred weapon of the jedi or sith.

I thought the "build another lightsaber" was a good idea. Reminded me a lot of KotOR I. Besides, you can use force powers while using melee and ranged weapons in this version. Not too bad of a trade off.

I have to play through as darkside at least twice. Once as a male and once as a female. After that, I can usually only go through as a lightsider. KotOR I ruined it for me when I had to use my darkside threats against the woman on Tatooine. Later, I had to kill Mission?! Darkside may be more fun for most, but not for me. I still enjoy force storm and take huge force point hits.

Lightsaber crystal glitch? Care to explain? I'm not sure I've read about it anywhere else. Oh course, I haven't looked anywhere else; so please bear with me. Really, what does the lightsaber crystal glitch involve?

I think you have to be a lot closer to the mastery of either side; ie. you have to closer to light/dark mastery as opposed to being in the middle. I always try to maximize my light/dark points when I get to Nar Shadaa (my second planet). I've usually achieved mastery and my prestige class during my raid on G0-T0's yacht.

You can use the underlays with the Robes. It's not much, but it is better than nothing.

If your pc is darkside, it's easier because all you have to do is kill Lootra and you get a lightsaber piece. Lightsiders have to finish two quests in order to get the lightsaber piece from Lootra. You can loot Vogga the Hutt's storeroom for the piece as well. You'll need stealth skills. You'll have to go into the Flophouse and approach the two aliens in the first room using stealth. After overhearing their conversation, you'll take the appropriate measures. You'll also have to get the Vogga's dancer quest. Make sure you overhear the conversation first and get what you'll need before you begin the Vogga's dancer quest. After getting the dancer quest, you'll be transported to Vogga's place, where you'll be able to complete the quest. Good luck.

You know the little box that appears after you do something that furthers the plot. It usually shows up in the box with the amount of xp and/or credits you receive. But occassionally, a lone message box will appear. In your case, try going to the Refugee Sector. Just before you enter, you should receive a little message box with a journal note. Then, you'll get the message from Atton; telling you about the message from Visquis. If not, try going into the Refugee Sector and then leaving again. It should work. Let me know.

Has anyone had this happen? I was darkside and helped the mercs on Dantooine. After I killed Vrook , I left Khoonda Plains. I was about to leave and I noticed that the Droid merchant was laying on the ground, dead. I checked his corpse and one of the items was the thorium charges!! I haven't gone to Onderon or Korriban yet.

You'll have to try this. Leave the Ebon Hawk and go to the Refugee Section. Just before you enter, you should get a little message box-note. That will be the signal for the game to go on to the next step. You should then get the message from Atton about the meeting with Visquis. I had this happen to me a few times and I had to do this. No big deal, just a pain in the butt! Good luck!!

That's right!! Vrook does look like an emaciated Ed Asner!! I had a similar scenario. I was lightiside and I completed the hydrospanner quest with the lightside ending. I got the guy to join the militia. After the battle, Vrook was demonstrating the lightsaber technique on the droid merchant guy. For the remainder of the game, the droid merchant walks around limping from being wounded by Vrook. Maybe Vrook is son angry because he can only kill and maim defenseless, non-jedi.

I have run into this once. I also had to use a force power and then leave the ship and return. It worked fine after that. That was the only time for me.

I think that's the best damage combination for lightsabers. You can create a powerful lightsaber without using any power crystals. Oh course, power crystals make you even deadlier!!
