***SPOILER ALERT*** Wound in the what?
Ten-96 replied to SaraBellum's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
KotOR I made it easier for you to choose the darkside. Most of the responses were geared towards following the path of the darkside. I think it's the same with KotOR II. It seems as though the majority of interesting and funny responses seem to be of the darkside. -
O.K. Point taken. Unfortunately, it begs to be asked; why read the Spoilers forum if you don't want to see spoilers. If you don't want to read spoilers, there is always the Storyline forums.

Yeah, that thing that Han landed in in Ep. 5 was some kind of huge galactic space worm inside of a shell type thingy. I think.

[OFF TOPIC] If this is the Spoilers forum, why is some of the text blocked out? Is there something I'm missing about the Spoilers forum? [/OFF TOPIC]

I didn't mean to imply that the Vong were "Sith." I meant that the Vong may be the future enemies faced in the next sequel, if there indeed is another sequel. As far as Rogue Planet, the types of ships made by the planet were still of starship design. They looked a little different but not so much as to be confused with an asteroid. Canderous mentioned that what they fired on had no visible means of propulsion, just like a Vong skipper.

When you do use mines, try to use minor sonic or minor frag mines. They do less damage to the contents of the container. If you use average or higher, you have a better chance of getting broken items.

It is possible that there may be an encounter with the Zhuuzon Vong. Canderous mentioned them in KoTOR I. He remembered what looked like and asteroid that accelerated and changed course after having been fired upon by the Mandalorians. He also mentioned that they were on the outskirts of Republic space. In some of the later Star Wars novels, the Vong are mentioned as having come to Republic space and meeting with a Jedi about a millenium before Star Wars: Episode I.

To find yourself. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To stop the Sith; once and for all.

By the time I trigger the cut-scene with Visas, I already have my lightsaber. I usually get a regular lightsaber. Then, when i get to Dxun, Mandalore gives me a Double-Bladed lightsaber. I don't know if it's random or not but after playing through three times I think it may be hard-coded into the game.

Telos Citadel Question--Escaped Criminals
Ten-96 replied to Revik Astarion's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Do you have to go and visit the Czerka Office before you go visit the Ethorians? I have yet to see the escaped criminals in both my lightside quests (male and female). Do you have to agree to help the Czerka Corp. first and then you get to see the criminals? I, too; am a little lost. I know it's not a big deal, but I'd like to complete all the quests; at least one time. -
I elected the think about it option and after more experience and some more dialog, I was able to train the handmaiden. I was a lightsider at the time, so that may have had a little something to do with my success. I usually train Bao-Dur on Dantooine after finding the atmospheric sensors. I train Atton on Nar Shadaa before I meet Mira. I train Mira on Nar Shadaa after I destroy G0-T0's yacht.

How long did it take you?
Ten-96 replied to KotOR_rules2004's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Don't forget about the random item generation. I think almost anything is possible with this game. It's one of the reasons I enjoy playing. You never get the same items at the same place every play through. -
How long did it take you?
Ten-96 replied to KotOR_rules2004's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I was wrong about my time for my lighsaber. I got everything I needed after 11hr and 10 mn. I saved just after I consturcted my lightsaber. Did you know that you don't have to be in the Ebon Hawk or near a work bench in order to consturct your lightsaber. I had Bao-Dur in my party and asked him if I had everything I needed. He said that I did and all I needed was a few minutes alone with a workbench. Next, I get a dialog box asking which type of lightsaber I wanted to build. I choose the double-bladed and then received a dialog box for received item: Double-Bladed Lightsaber. -
How long did it take you?
Ten-96 replied to KotOR_rules2004's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think my current game it took me 12 hr and 40 mn. I am on Nar Shadda and I am about to return to the Ebon Hawk and fight the Red Eclipse. -
I have played through once and am on my second play. I've been through Telos and attempted to do all of the sidequests. I was not able to find the two escaped criminals on either game. Do you have to play as darkside in order to find them? I got the quest from the Telos Militia commander after getting all of my equipment. I went to the Czerka headquarters and was not able to find the escaped criminals. Any suggestions?

How you like my Revan pic?
Ten-96 replied to Fires_of_DeathF's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Sorry for the off-topic reply, but how can you tell? Revan is wearing some type of armor/robe. Do you know something about Revan that you aren't sharing with the group? Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Shame. Shame. Shame. -
Malak's Lightsaber & Armor
Ten-96 replied to KotOR_rules2004's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Anyone have any stats for Malak's armor and lightsaber? Does his armor allow the use of Force Powers? Does his lightsaber have any attack bonuses? -
I had forgotten about Sherruk. He was an absolute nightmare the first few times through the game. I employed the Twin Suns easy solution for Sherruk one more than one occassion. Has anyone ever tried Sherruk in solo mode? His Master Power Attack was incredible!!
-
I think that the toughest bosses to fight was the Governer on Taris in KoTOR I. He was tough and used his force powers effectively against your pc and party members. I wasted a lot of time trying to beat him the first few play throughs. He was by far the most difficult boss battle in the first game, at that stage of the game.

What did u find on the mummy in Freddon Nads tomb
Ten-96 replied to Kanel32's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I must have run into a random glitch. When I went through the first time, I got Freddon Nads' blaster. I didn't know that Sith Lords needed blasters. I assume that I must have run into a glitch. -
Technically, I don't remember Jango having killed a lot of Jedi. Boba, however; made it his life's mission to exterminate Jedi after watching the man that he believed was his father being slain by Mace Windu on Genosha. By the way, Boba survived his fall into the Sarlaac pit in ep. 6. He returns in the books following ep. 6. I just don't know what happens to him after that. Anyone else know? I apologize that my reply is off topic.

Silver Double-Bladed!! Master Flurry or Master Critical Strike look awesome!! (w00t)

I don't know about the speeder theory, because I have had the problem with and without the speeder. My theory is the type of xbox that you own. The problem is probably related to first and second generation xboxes. I own a second generation xbox. I didn't have the problem on my first play through. On my second, I had the problem and resolved it by going to the Refugee Sector. Interestingly, I had a similar problem with the Refugee sidequest. After I eliminated the Serrocco and Exchange thugs, I couldn't get the quest to clear until I was about to leave the Refugee Sector. I received the quest note box that appears after you receive or complete a quest.

Should've Revan Been Seen In KOTOR II?
Ten-96 replied to KotorianRuler's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I agree. Revan should have played a role in TSL. Not as a playable character, but at least as an encounter. I mean; come on, you have to talk to Master Vrook. What's up with that? He wasn't important in KoTOR I. How the hell did he get some much game time in TSL? Don't get me started about the other Jedi Masters. Of all Jedi Masters ( I consider Revan to be a Jedi Master), you should at least get to meet the most powerful and charasmatic of the bunch. As for male or female, I always considered darkside female Revan to be the best. -
The 2nd Weekly Favorite LightSaber Colors Poll

Silver!! It looks great when you use the Master feats for flurry or Critical Strike!!
