The gameplay of KOTOR 1-2 aren't all that different than Diablo2 1: you run around killing endless hordes of inept enemies. 2: you scavange every corpse for imensly overpowered items. 3: you level up like once every 30 min. 4: The sidequests are mainly either the "go find" or the "go kill" category.

I would say Blizzard,since the Companies that have been making This Star wars "RPG" so far,has turned it into a mindless Loothunt of items with insane Stats,not to mention the Horde of useless foes that you cut down like grass we might as well get the masters of said type of game to make it.

The Moon is called (oddly enough ) the santuary moon..endor the planet is a gas giant the sanruary moon obits..the system is called endor as well,so when people talk about the santuary moon the just usally says endor (probally because the santuary moon is a weird and redicules name for a moon).

Maybe the real answer would be to not give the player,tons of items/feats that increse his/her combat abillity to insane godhood..hence the fights would be longer and more intense :running low on vitallity ..should i dare to power attack knowing that it will drop my defence 2 points risking death. Also making Death a factor tend to increse the intensity of any fight (who cares when your charecter just get up after the fight).

Trust me ..Lucasart aren't above doing really stupid stuff...

I would really enjoy if the development team made a effort to bring the d20 version of the sw universe to the computerscreen ...

I doubt that a patch will do any good anyway,This game has be a dissapointment in almost every department to me..shame since i had so high hopes that Obsidian would create something decent out of Biowares weak forray into the SW universe...insted Obsidian seem to have enlarged every mistake Bioware made by order of magnitude..from the Story(thats not really a sw story at all) to the Diablofication to every aspect of the gameplay (skill/feats/items). I wonder..why make a rpg game when you really want to make a exp/item hunt set in space? Why make a SW game and then create a story that dosen't fit nor belong in the sw universe?

Carth dind't seem one bit inept at being a soldier ,infact he had enough situation awareness to organize your escape from the Ender spire through comunication. Soldiers aren't supposed to be heartless (been a soldier for nine years myself) a professional soldier does his job no matter what he feals..which is exacly what carth did. Edit: Multiple edits due to me being tired and can't spell.

Look you're NOT a whiny person if have some Issues after your homeplanet has been bombed back to the stoneage by your old mentor,your whife is dead and your son is missing. If you're Fealing somewhat depressed and out for revenge after something like that then you're just acting normal. Biowares attempt to give the charecter of Carth some Depth seems to have been only partial succesfull, since they should have know that the primary audience to the story is Pimpled teenagers who has no understanding of anything but signs Strength (hence the cilt of Revan,stupid as it is). Quote : Kids Loves power since they have none of their own, and kids hates weakness since it is all they know.

I don't care who makes as long as they make a effort to actually use the D20 rules , since so much could be gained on that account.

I like Qui-gon jinn's abillity to think for himself i do belive that he and the old ben kenobi impersonates the ideals of the jedi order while Luke impersonates the ideal Jedi Knight.

Taris: The PC,Mission and Bastilla emerges from the sith base after they have killed everything inside and stolen the launch codes. After a quick invetory check they walk towards the Sith Trooper garding a elevator only 30 meters away. PC: Hey you (to the sith trooper) we just killed every man,woman and droid including your govener what do you think about that huh? Sith Trooper: Not my problem,my job is to guard this elevator and only let people down if they are 1: dressed in a sith uniform or 2: having falsified papers..in both cases it dosen't matter what company they keep as long as they have the uniform or the papers..hell i would even let a jedi or a know republic pass as long as they have the papers..do you have the papers? PC: so you don't care about us killing your govener and sacking your base? Sith Trooper: Not my problem and anyway you're probally just lying! PC: no i'm not..here try and call the base on the radio..i tell you i killed them all!! Sith Trooper: No no no that will not work on me. PC: what will not work?. Sith Trooper: you're trying to get me to think logically about things..that won't happen i will not end up as them (points to a grupe of sith troopers wandering aimlessly around the streats totally oblivius to anything)...no that will not happen,so you got the papers so you can meet canderous and get of this planet? it's the only way you know. PC: But..But. Sith Trooper: Let me see them papers. PC: You know theres a jedi wantet by Malak in my company surely you will not let me pass with her here? Sith Trooper: dosen't matter as long as you have the papers i'm fine. PC: (shows papers and wander towards the elevator..turns to Bastilla and says)you know..this saving the galaxy from Malak is going to be Easy. Actually If you take a look at the Star Wars D20 game system (+all the addon books) you will find the most Skill Heavy D20 gamesystem ever.

I would just like to add to the people who hasen't played any D20 star wars roleplaying,that they are kidding themselves if they belive that only the Jedi charecters are worthwhile or powerfull,Grantet a jedi can do a lot of things but so can the rest of the charecters (Fringer,scoundels and soforth),some of them are actually far better suitet to most situations than a jedi,A fringer or a scoundle can handle almost any situation with skill and guile, a soilder excells in combat (better than a jedi most of the time) and none of them has to follow some mumblejumbled code of conduct. Remember that the star wars universe is far more than the Glowrod guys
