Concepts of good and evil doesn't really apply to Jedi or Sith, imo. They are sort of beyond those vulgar terms. Lots of the Jedi seems rather evil in their fanatically narrowminded unforgiving cold-blooded way, while some of the Sith just seems like good sports. Maybe Kreia is evil, but she's also manipulative, righteous and good, but not in the gullible style that are so common among LS players. The color gray is suitable for her. Jolee was gray too.

I tried a demo of it and it's what I would refer to as a Diablo-like dungeon hack.

Playing a Yin or Yan Jedi and use the wu-hsing powers is...uh, an alternative to LS/DS and the force, and might work in the chinese/japanese language setting, but it's really no different than using the original name convention since they are already *known* (like dakkon would *know* it) metaphors.

The plaguebearers...all of them really, was pretty hard on my malk, but Min actually felt easier. The plaguebearers had a nasty habit of spotting me right thru obfuscate, especially the preacher, what's his name, just kept spotting me...that's really the one weakness...when obfuscate is negated.

Yeah, i get the idea of trophies but keeping an ear seems so much easier and less expensive than getting a victim diamond. It's definitely more intimidating to wear an ear-necklace than wearing a diamond necklace, which could be anything else... But diamonds are a girls best friend...keyword: friend...a former lover that was lifegemmed...no doubt.

Funny isn't really a requirement, even though 'witty' may sound like it...and if someone knows of a game reminiscent of Arcanum that isn't filtered out or part of my backcatalogue, please tell...I may be limited, but I'm also desperate.

I think he was joking - unfortunately. :D I am not surprised about the article, some of those flashy papparazi or reporters have no morals over quoting out of context for profit and ratings...it happens everywhere. "

Think trophies! I guess even Mike Tyson might get fed up with his ear collection, not to mention the stench of rot and decay unless preserved....diamonds are on the other hand pretty and clean. Might even be worth something.

Just imagine being a serial-killer and wear your victims on a string...and then you meet and he starts watching you sizing you up...

Didn't you just post that already? I play a MUD where someone has his zMUD client setup with his MP3 player so that his title in the who-is-online-view are constantly updated with whatever he is listening too atm. Is that at work here?

Well, what file(s) are involved in the crash? And do you got something nasty running in the background? Does it crash right away or do see the launcher first(Game, Update, etc)? Are you underspec on system memory and diskspace, swap size etc too?

Vomito Negro - Shock. Good ol' minimalistic electro hardcore.

Well... Spaceballs had an alternative. Not the force, but the Schwartz. In any case, the jedi force really have very little to do with the word the force as it's used anywhere else like a force-field or air force. Instead of doing direct english-to-national langage translations, you need to reinvent the concept in your own language or simply go with the force as it is. It's like translating a brand like Coca-cola to something national like "Karamelvand-cola" or "Koffeinvand med karamelsmag-cola" (Danish).

KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions

The game would be almost impossible to playthrough LS then. And also, most of the people you kill are your enemies, who need to be brought to justice. Hence, a Jedi. You may be the judge and jury, but executioner as well? That seems a bit too evil. In K1 during your initiation for Jedi there's a similar judge/jury role, but the perpetrator is returned to the enclave. Combined with @metadigitals idea a la "Bloodlines" (exp for quests only, even though there is plenty of combat to be had if you so desirre) and my idea about more enemies yielding, the LS jedi could be about returning those offenders to court for trial...but in any case: killing enemies at an alarming rate, that's just too much bloodshed for a LS I think. -
AAAAAARGH...you are no fun! *slaps you across the face with a dead trout...or is that a chicken*

Did I forget to mention Arcanum...yeah I did. I got it when it came, played it thru a couple of times and I wasn't really impressed, not funny imo.

Most difficult game you have ever played
Janmanden replied to kumquatq3's topic in Computer and Console
If you haven't had any experience with the line of thinking in adventure games I'd definitely recommend Day of the Tentacle and Monkey Island as they are both quite hilarious and unconventional...if you get stuck you'll likely still be laughing so it's a bit easier to escape the feeling of defeat...and they are not really that hard. -
Ugh, soccer...teh sux0r Before I quit that online thing I had an order of VTM:Bloodlines and ToEE messed up with Champions League 2004-2005, ewww. Nasty experience, I had a regular crisis. No more.

Looking for a good PC-RPG/Action hybrid with witty dialogue and a storyline that will keep me playing for several hours. But... - No consoles. (No X-SUX, etc.) - Not fluffy cuteness or anime crap. (No Final Fantasy, etc.) - Not Diablo-like dungeon hacks. (No Dungeon Siege, etc.) - Not subscription based MMORPG's. (No WoW, etc.) - Not total crap. Why do I feel like, that these limitations filter out all the games, except the ones I already have (Fallout(both), BG(all), IWD(all), Planescape: Torment, Deus Ex(both), System Shock(2), VTM(both), KOTOR(both), NWN, Arcanum, JA2?!, Odium?!, M&M(All)) Something an old Bloodsucking-Amnesiac-Jedi-Mutant-Swashbuckler might like. Any Ideas? edit: some games I forgot to mention snuck in.

...yeah and I know feng shui so just be careful what chair you bump into.

I'm curious. Which of the male characters do the female players think is the most sexy?
-
That's right. Funny how Wolfenstein 3D had that hidden feature, that caused you to examine every wall that seemed like just the place for a secret....later in games like Doom, Quake, etc. that got whacked and dumbed down completely, now there was buttons...tch.

How can a LS Jedi not be affected by the deaths of the masses that lay butchered in the wake of his progress. Totally soaked in blood. Should be a penance of some kind. A little move towards the DS for each kill. -
You got hurt and you comfort me... You are a reborn christian?
