To Obsidian and LucasArts
The Bardic Pen replied to Thelemecus Rhade's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
05 is the year. (By the way, if you think TNG, DS9 and Voyager sucked, you've obviously never seen Enterprise.) -
. . . . . . . . . I suppose that means Canada's next. Well, I was going to go to Hell anyway, what with the greed, sloth, glutonny, pride, envy, impure thoughts and all that. EDIT: Oh wait, Canada already is on the list. Why are the States there though?

I think the most riddiculous part is that Anne Murray wasn't even in the top 50. I spent a week thinking that the MPs had legalized marijuana and I hadn't heard about it.

Character Creation - Mixing the Classes around
The Bardic Pen replied to Jeedai's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Does anyone pick their classes for roleplaying purposes? -
Yes! Nourish your hate! *glombs da h8*

Use the 3.5E Bard, give him the Sorcerer's spell list and 2E Bardic Song. That should balance things out. (Keep in mind, I don't remember what the 2E Bardic Song does, so I might be way off.)

KotOR2 PC Version Q&A at Gamespot
The Bardic Pen replied to funcroc's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The release date is new. -
1) Get a bus schedule so that I know which one to take. 2) Go to the bank and get some money 2) Have breakfast so I can skip lunch. 3) Rush out of Differential Calculus, take the bus to the shopping centre and buy the game. 4) In the event that I can't get a copy, Canada will have a new Prime Minister following an needlessly bloody coup. 5) If I acquire the game, then I will fake interest in my remaining classes. 6) I will end my blood feud with Tim Horton's so that I can load up on coffee and play for 3 days straight.

What if they announce TSL is delayed for PC
The Bardic Pen replied to Zach Morris's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Mad if we don't get all the content the Devs guaranteed would be in the game but decided to cut from the game at the last minute to please the motherf***ers at Lucasarts. I don't care about bugs that much, that's what patches are for. -
Aside from the robes, the mask and the Force lightning, I can't see any ressemblence.

Swoop Upgrades?
The Bardic Pen replied to Jedi_Master_Darkor's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You know, Hades One is actually starting to make sense now. Did the Devs actually mean anything they said? -
pen and paper KOTOR
The Bardic Pen replied to TentamusDarkblade's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
There's a campaign setting somewhere out there, but I forgot the link. You can probably find it by looking through WotC's Star Wars RPG Message boards. -
Tired of XBOX getting everything first

Lucasarts finally has new screen of KOTOR2

System Requirements for the PC version
The Bardic Pen replied to GhostofAnakin's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
So we can immediately start showing off our bug-free games to the poor sods who bought it for the X-Box. Besides, there's a chance they'll feel bad for the delay and give us our custom lightsaber hilts. -
KotOR II sales in december!
The Bardic Pen replied to Meshugger's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Maybe Lucas just doesn't want people to know that a company he has nothing to do with can make a game that is much, MUCH, MUCH better than some of his movies? -
System Requirements for the PC version
The Bardic Pen replied to GhostofAnakin's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Maybe the developers are working on releasing all the stuff they cut from the X-Box version and throw in new stuff like custom lightsabers and don't want to waste time with a pretty pointless website? And then maybe a journalist will prove that Bush rigged the election and that Kerry won by over 100 000 000 votes. -
Lionheart's pretty bad. It's like Diablo mated with Baldur's Gate and something really bad happened to the graphics' genes. Thief 3 isn't the best game out there, but Robbing the Cradle makes up for most of its flaws. As the worst, I'd have to say Neverwinter Nights. I like it, but it's the same basic concept for each chapter, the enemies die like cattle and you don't have party members to distract you from the endless killing like you did in Knights of the Old Republic.

Game Reviewers taking bribes to boost scores...
The Bardic Pen replied to drcloak's topic in Computer and Console
Is anyone really surprised? -
Is it Raining on Your Parade?
The Bardic Pen replied to BuckeyeRowe's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Um, let's just say that your reasoning is not the most sound piece of logic I've found on these boards. But hey, don't let me stop you from forming a beforehand opinion. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Beats Hades One's logic.   -
Is it Raining on Your Parade?
The Bardic Pen replied to BuckeyeRowe's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Nothing wrong with having your own preferences but, how does a moronic comment about the game make it better in your eyes? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Observe! 1- KotOR2 reviewer calls Baldur's Gate a crappy game while bashing KotOR 2. 2- I adore Baldur's Gate. 3- My tastes and the reviewer's tastes are therefore opposed. 4- I will enjoy KotOR 2 since the reviewer didn't like it. Plus, I'm a bitter, bitter man.
